  1. Don't we remember all the ads for aspirin, tylenol, ibuprofen etc. . Not to mention cigarettes ( Winston tastes good like a cigarette should).But I can see that they dont want to find out many pot smokers die young. As with cigarettes.

  2. I just find it funny how they just talk about this incident in a neutral but slightly negative light (as they should) then oh by the way don’t forget the suberbowl this Sunday on CBS… Yeah i know we just slagged ourselves off but it doesn’t mean we still don’t want your money

  3. I use medical marijuana for medical purposes and it's actually gotten me off of wanting pain pills and I do not want to do other drugs it is not a gateway for other drugs it is used for medicine I don't get other people who don't understand I need to do more research and find out what it's really about it's nothing but good it helps tremendously

  4. Just remember that the ad showed a kid having his seizures removed for the first time in his life through medical weed, and they banned it, yet they spent 30 percent of commercial run time shoving ads of life ruining and deadly alcohol down our throats like it’s not big deal. That CEO looks like a real class act IMO sounds like a real good guy for protecting our children from the dangers of seeing pot save a child’s life

  5. Such a violent sport where its players are seriously injured yearly but they are more concerned of the possible gateway effects of medical marijuana. They should be more concerned about players being hooked on pain meds that medical practitioners prescribe to injured players.

  6. Falcons owner says the gateway drug affect???? Didn't that TE Nate Jackson just say that he was already prescribed vicodins right off the bat? And you want to talk about gateway drug when you are given pharmaceuticals and reversing to marijuanas. That is no gateway to me

  7. I hate when people still think it's a gateway drug. I know plenty of people…and myself included have smoked and never once thought about trying something more. It's not about that at all

  8. ‘Afraid of the gateway effect’ are you kidding me?!? Your prescribing opioid narcotics (the strongest drugs) and worried about the gateway effect of marijuana? Just shows old men stuck in their stupid ways.

  9. Marijuanas is the most dangerous drug out there. It kills hundreds of millions of people each year from overdosing. People lose their jobs and end up walking the streets homeless due to its highly additive factors.

  10. They are only worried that cannabis is not a gateway drug because the government profits from those illegal drugs like heroin coke and meth and if people could get pot they wouldn't need those drugs meanwhile they promote alcohol

  11. Then the drunks at CBS should ban all alcohol commercials. If you have never tried it, then you are not allowed to ban it, IMO. How many people die daily from the effects of alcohol???? This is not about getting high. I live in Maine, where we are allowed to make up our own minds about this so called "DRUG" , and it is nothing like alcohol… but we are governed by closed minded people that have no clue what they are talking about. If they only had a brain!!!

  12. I’ve smoked for 4 years now and never had the urge to use other drugs mister. I smoke to relieve pain as I have a chronic pain condition. I also found it helped with my anxiety and overall lifts my mood. I don’t find it to be a “gateway” drug.

  13. Research the connection between Harry J Anslinger and William R Hearst’s “ yellow journalism “ and you will find out a lot about cannabis prohibition and the racial lies that brought it about. Not a gateway drug anymore than alcohol and coffee.

  14. I agree to some extent that THC is safer than alohcal but I say some extent because it is not for everyone. Like me when I get too high I get paranoid an I try to use THC to get me out of my own head instead it put me deeper into it. And especially with editables you can't really know the dosage or how it will affect you. Alcohol on the other hand you know how much % it is like 3.2 beer vs 70% whiskey kinda thing an you can control how much you drink. Some people have killed their family because they didn't understand how to come down from the High. And all in all God wants us sober minded correct? So if being high is basically the same as Drunkenness. We probably shouldn't do it. I know it helps seizures an I believe there is medical benefits. Romans 12:1 " I urge you brothers in view of God's mercy to offer your bodies as living sacrifices holy and pleasing to God this is your spiritual act of worship"

  15. The FBI estimates:

    * 100 BILLION dollars in black market recreational cannabis sales every year here in the United States and all that money goes to criminals and organized crime.

    * 30 BILLION is lost in potential tax revenue.

    * 15 BILLION is wasted on the capture and persecution simple cannabis consumers.

    Legalization solves all these problems and kicks organized crime out of the cannabis sales in favor of legitimate business.

    Why legalize? Because cannabis is safer.

    Figures directly from the CDC on numbers of deaths per year in the USA:

    * Prescription Drugs: 237,485 + 5,000 traffic fatalities

    * Tobacco: 480,000

    * Alcohol: 88,013 + 16,000 traffic fatalities

    * Cocaine: 4,906

    * Heroin: 7,200

    * Aspirin: 466

    * Acetaminophen (Tylenol): 179

    * Marijuana: 0, none, not a single fatal toxic overdose in all medical history and no significant statistical record of traffic problems.

    Legalize, regulate, TAX recreational cannabis!
