Man arrested after stolen guns, marijuana found in San Angelo

SAN ANGELO — An Austin area man has been arrested after Tom Green County Sheriff’s deputies found packaged marijuana and guns in a San Angelo apartment, according to a department news release.

On Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021, deputies used a search warrant on an apartment in the 4100 block of Ben Ficklin Road in relation to a narcotics investigation, records state.

Deputies found over $63,000, more than 13 lbs. of marijuana and two guns, which had been stolen, according to the release.

Tyler Parks, 21, of Manor, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of possession of marijuana between 5-50 lbs. He remained in Tom Green County Detention Center with no bond listed as of noon Friday, according to online jail records.
