An 11-year-old boy is dead after police say he was stabbed by another boy Saturday in northern Bradford County.
The incident took place between 8:15 and 8:30 p.m. Saturday on Randall Road in Ridgebury Township, a few milesĀ south of the New York state line, according to Pennsylvania State Police at Towanda.
The victim was involved in a scuffle over a toy with a 9-year-old boy when he suffered a fatal stab wound to the chest, state police said.
The two were reportedly playing with Nerf toys when a tug-of-war ensued over a Nerf gun. During the struggle, the younger boy, who was holding a knife, allegedly cut the victim in the left upper chest.
