The trichomes on the buds are not water soluble when they are still wet (before they are harvested and dried) weed farmers that grow outside wash their buds before they dry them to get rid of any bugs, bug poop, bird poop, dirt, etc., so putting the buds in the water with the leaves would not effect hurt the trichomes. Thc is oil based (not water soluble)
Not heat only citric acid will covert thc-A into THC add coconut oil and lemon juice to your juice it will get you high for 10hrs! Even if it's just leaves! I just tried it I'm high!

I've been making raw cannabis smoothies and fresh freezing it. I grow my own organically without any harsh chemicals. I use an 8th of a cup of raw cannabis per smoothie every day. I have super severe Crohn's disease followed by a slew of other digestive issues and medical problems. I have 2 caregivers in Maine that donate either all my smokeables or raw cannabis if I run out. Maine caregivers care. I've taught so many caregivers info I feel they should know but don't. I'm a very smart patient. And help others learn about raw cannabis also. Yay relief at its finest. I'm drinking a super yummy cannabis & fruit smoothie today. I typically get 14hrs of pain relief and it stops my chronic nausea and intestinal spasms, and massive inflammation relief from having really severe Crohn's disease as well as other severe digestive disorders. I was non stop vomiting for 8 months and suffering from severe gastrointestinal issues that follow Crohn's disease. Great to see cannabis being eaten raw, but for the love of Loki DON'T ditch the fibre! Too many people dont get enough fibre and fruits, veg, nuts, seeds and whole grains combined, form a great source of fibre. Juicing wastes so much.
Repurposing the trim leaves for juicing if not buyable as leaves, could be done as fresh juice popcicles. I'd drop in at a dispensary on a hot day for a health shot popcicle on their outdoor/indoor lounge, it should be the cost of a smoothie though, I dont like buying edibles the cost of a weekend's worth of weed but it just for it to last for a single session.
