I was born with epilepsy and cerebral palsy. I have a twin brother, i was born first. My brother was born with no problems. I take phenytoin for my epilepsy, as a child I was on phenabarbatone, then at 14 i was put on Epilim 500mg. Which caused me to gain lots of weight. I went to live in Canada for a few years where I was taken off eperlim & switched to phenytoin. Which I still take today. As a child I had grand mal seizures, which doctors said I would grow out of. Which I did, but I now have petit mal. It' feels weird when I have it, i can hear all that's going on around me, but ppl and any noise, sound much louder, plus it feels like I'm floating on water. Before the seizure I get the smell like burnt toast. I can have a seizure at any time, night or day. Unpredictable. I feel a little confused when I come round, which lasts for a couple of minutes, then I'm back with you again. Usually a cup of tea helps me recover. I read a lot of blogs where people who shared their testimonies kept mentioning Anti-seizure Herbal medication. Of course the government wants to take the plant crush it up extract it turn it to a powder and press it into a pill. They can’t let nature do its job mariquana is a medicine on its own when you do so much chemical prossess your creating drugs that have bad side effects raw marijuana dosent have bad side effects we need to me giving the kids little gummy bears filled with doses of cbd and thc not some artificial chemical form of marijuana
CBD has decreased my seizures but works even better is organic apple cider vinegar with mother in it. Take 2 Tablespoons a day and my seizures decreased over 50%.
In 1985 Marinol was approved with THC extracted from sative cannabis. Marinol is not synthetic THC but a extraction. So this is the second drug approved by the FDA.
Now after denying medical benefits for decades. Claiming no studies showing medical benefit. Government is acting like experts bringing us some miraculous unheard of new medicine. To be in pharmacies by end of year. How is that possible without reclassification of marijuana? How can pharmacies engage in sale of a product derived from an illegal source? Hemp is marijuana, just as illegal to grow, possess and sell. Or is that DEA is only going to reclassify CBD without regard to its source. Maintaining strict prohibition against marijuana and THC having no medical value.

Why would you risk negative side effects or long-term implications from pharmaceuticals? You can’t make a toxic drug LESS toxic by placing a pure ingredient into it. Two thumbs down for Big Pharma! Ditch medicine and focus only on safe, gentle options. There’s plenty of documentaries and evidence about how effective pure CBD oil ALONE can work wonders for seizures, chronic pain, cognitive health, inflammation, and so much more. My son had had LGS for over 8 years and Epidiolex has prevented him from having any seizure for over 2 years since the study.
