When I was blessed to care for my litt, little, Gabriel (a red-bellied parrot), I learned to live with broken jacket zippers and missing buttons! Oh, the mixed and funny joys of being a parrot mama šŸŒ·šŸŒ·šŸŒ·
    Flock blessings!

  4. How interesting. One of my caiques gets carried away preening and she pinches. I will gently remove her beak and gently tell her ā€œnoā€. Then I refocus her attention. Iā€™d love to say she perfect. But, being a Caique she is stubborn and persistent. That is part of what I love about her. This is also the bird that delights in rolling on to her back while in my lap and making sweet noises.ā˜ŗļø

  5. I hope you can get past your parrots nipping! When you are comfortable with your parrot and you donā€™t feel like youā€™ll get bit, sometimes thereā€™s nothing better. The bond and you can create with a parrot is just incredible, long lasting and very loving.
