How interesting. One of my caiques gets carried away preening and she pinches. I will gently remove her beak and gently tell her ānoā. Then I refocus her attention. Iād love to say she perfect. But, being a Caique she is stubborn and persistent. That is part of what I love about her. This is also the bird that delights in rolling on to her back while in my lap and making sweet noises.āŗļø
I hope you can get past your parrots nipping! When you are comfortable with your parrot and you donāt feel like youāll get bit, sometimes thereās nothing better. The bond and you can create with a parrot is just incredible, long lasting and very loving.
