I'm all for legalizing weed. Weed should be legal. But no, mexico's problems won't be solved by legalization. Cartels are just illicit businesses. Weed is just one product that they may sell. But the purpose of the business isn't to sell weed, it's to make money. Cartels will simply find other ways to make money. The underlying problem is the economic instability.
