I was under the impression the difference between sativa and indica is in terms to where the plants naturally grow, hence the distinct appearance and characteristics. Sativa coming from hot climates, so it grows taller and longer stalks. Indica coming from higher elevations with warm-cool climates, so it grows short and bushy.
