Thats the problem right with Crowley and Cuomo and all those guys right is their are powerful people. And servants should not have power, but they should have less power as a public servant. But they don't in fact they seek being a public servant for such power of which they should not hold to begin with. From what i know about Cuomo is he uses NYC to maintain his power while stealing from everyone else and offering almost no aid to any place except NYC. he has called voters various slang terms for garbage multiple times, Idk doesn't sound that good to me. And if he wanted to legalize Mary jane, He would have in fact i was the only one that said he wouldn't last year. And to escape any backlash they said they forgot to file the pappers on time. But the truth is it was on purpose as to not admit to not wanting to legalize it because they would lose millions in revenue. But in truth theirs alot more people who are murdered because its classified as illegal and that includes innocent familys who didn't even have Mary jane. And many others who lose most of their life even if they were lucky not to receive a life sentence. All so the city can collect a fat check.
Oh so it's ok to legalize weed so people walk around drugged up but not ok for us citizens to legally own guns to protect their homes ,family and bussiness.

Teenagers and young adults who use marijuana may be messing with their heads in ways they donât intend. Evidence is mounting that regular marijuana use increases the chance that a teenager will develop psychosis, a pattern of unusual thoughts or perceptions, such as believing the television is transmitting secret messages. It also increases the risk of developing schizophrenia, a disabling brain disorder that not only causes psychosis, but also problems concentrating and loss of emotional expression. In one recent study that followed nearly 2,000 teenagers as theyÂ ïżŒbecame young adults, young people who smoked marijuana at least five times were twice as likely to have developed psychosis over the next 10 years as those who didnât smoke pot. Another new paper concluded that early marijuana use could actually hasten the onset of psychosis by three years. Those most at risk are youths who already have a mother, father, or sibling with schizophrenia or some other psychotic disorder. Young people with a parent or sibling affected by psychosis have a roughly one in 10 chance of developing the condition themselvesâeven if they never smoke pot. Regular marijuana use, however, doubles their riskâto a one in five chance of becoming psychotic. In comparison, youths in families unaffected by psychosis have a 7 in 1,000 chance of developing it. If they smoke pot regularly, the risk doubles, to 14 in 1,000. For years, now, experts have been sounding the alarm about a possible link between marijuana use and psychosis. One of the best-known studies followed nearly 50,000 young Swedish soldiers for 15 years. Those who had smoked marijuana at least once were more than twice as likely to develop schizophrenia as those who had never smoked pot. The heaviest users (who said they used marijuana more than 50 times) were six times as likely to develop schizophrenia as the nonsmokers. So far, this research shows only an association between smoking pot and developing psychosis or schizophrenia later on. Thatâs not the same thing as saying that marijuana causes psychosis. This is how research works. Years ago, scientists first noted an association between cigarette smoking and lung cancer. Only later were they able to figure out exactly how cigarette smoke damaged the lungs and other parts of the body, causing cancer and other diseases. The research on marijuana and the brain is at a much earlier stage. We do know that THC, one of the active compounds in marijuana, stimulates the brain and triggers other chemical reactions that contribute to the drugâs psychological and physical effects. But itâs not clear how marijuana use might lead to psychosis. One theory is that marijuana may interfere with normal brain development during the teenage years and young adulthood. The teenage brain is still a work in progress. Between the teen years and the mid-20s, areas of the brain responsible for judgment and problem solving are still making connections with the emotional centers of the brain. Smoking marijuana may derail this process and so increase a young personâs vulnerability to psychotic thinking. (You can read more about how the adolescent brain develops in this article from the Harvard Mental Health Letter.) While the research on marijuana and the mind has not yet connected all the dots, these new studies provide one more reason to caution young people against using marijuanaâespecially if they have a family member affected by schizophrenia or some other psychotic disorder. Although it may be a tough concept to explain to a teenager, the reward of a short-time high isnât worth the long-term risk of psychosis or a disabling disorder like schizophrenia.
This fuckinh governor's gonna cause nothing but chaos legalize neck buck and drug in this city it's a big mistake and by the way if you do the crime you do the time it's got nothing to do with race issue
Cuomo has no intention of legalizing and neither do any other NY politicians. There is too much money involved in prosecuting it all the way around. Cuomo lies so much he can't even keep his lies straight, but NYS media is his army. This is Cuomo "It's your body" when it comes to abortion, but it is not your body when it comes to forced vaccinations. His father shielded Dow Corning for years from women who were horrible hurt from their implants. I know I was one of them. This is an election ploy and will end up going nowhere.
1 – Considering the recent recreational legalization within the Northeast states New York is sure to follow. 2 – The boroughs have decriminalized marijuana to such an extreme that legalization is the next step. 3 – Governor Cuomo already has approval from the NYS Dept. of Health approving recreational use of marijuana. 4 – Governor Cuomo has a bill in the creation process that legalizes recreational use of marijuana.
I'm not a political person, I've just been following the legalization process in NY. We live in NY and my father is terminally ill. My father qualifies for medicinal marijuana but its very expensive and we cannot afford it. If recreational use was legal, the price would come down significantly where we could afford it.
of course he is he is a lot of things but he is NOT stupid…. he can smell the tax money …. he wants to be reelected … I will applaud when he frees the weed but I still not vote for a self appointed king …. his laws mean nothing to me … I will do the marijuana any time I so choose it is not up to him
Como is playing voter by saying he will legalizing,.if so do so. He has never, and never will. I ll go with Cynthia Nixon sheâs new and willing to change NY. Establishment never will.
Just do it already! Why should we be the last in everything? Legalizing it in some states and not all has created a monopoly of people that are selling out of the legal states to illegal states via online order and use of fed ex! made it worse in my opinion! legalize it nation wide!
