When you are applying the oil, does your rag get some of the paint in it? Also, after it has cured does the paint shows a bit on a rag when you wipe it? My rag has the color after over a month. Should I fo a second coat of the oil or apply something else to protect the furniture?
Thank you for this great tutorial. I have chosen this method to seal my kitchen cabinets. Since I have such severe asthma, I found your milk paint products to be ideal for me to use, especially indoors. No odor. No VOCs. This is the paint for me! I am using Kitchen Scale in my kitchen. When I showed my husband the color on the package he said he didn't like it. Now that I've started and have the "bones" of the cabinets painted, he loves it! You are such a great inspiration to me. Thank you Marian aka Miss Mustard Seed!
Question. After applying the milk paint, I applied the antique wax for that desired look. Because its made from bee's wax, In a way isn't it kinda a finish on its own? Can I still apply the hemp oil after or is it too late, or should I have done this in reverse? Also I'm now hooked on this product! and your site has been a great source. Keep up the great work:)
