  1. Hes right he went to Jail for something that is now no longer illegal, they need to give everyone that went to jail for selling weed a free licence to sell it and compensation for being thrown in jail for something they should have never been in jail for.

  2. If things weren’t taxed how would you people that get food stamps and government benefits be able to get what you do, these people should be the ones who vote for stuff to be taxed and legal
Use you’re brain people the government saves a lot of these minority families

  3. Yea cause lets not forget plenty of white men went to jail for selling and growing pot and STILL are to this day. It ISNT a race issue, this is a lack of understanding on our governments part issue and elitist bullshit issue.

  4. To be fair, some people grow it like crap and mix weird stuff in it. Greed, money, competition.
Getting a license and then being able to do what you want with no "oversight" will make some weird stuff come on the market, and the scare campaigns will start, and it will be made completely illegal again.
As to the whole black/white being arrested… I'm sorry lady but you don't seem to have been around neighborhoods where it's mainly being sold. It's predominantly black, so obviously more of them will be caught, since there are more of them doing it at least in a more concentrated area, thus easier to catch more. If you have to bring race into it, you're doing it wrong. To be honest, you're just not very smart and clearly focusing on the wrong thing. Be objective, not emotional.
You're even admitting it yourself, 6:14.

  5. He’s against legal marijuana for his own profit. Only cares about himself. A true weed man would want it to be legal. He’s in it to make money not smoke it

  6. Jesus, as a brown man myself who has also been arrested and charged for trafficking, I was so unbelievably disgusted by the usage of cannabis to further the racist dogma of BLM. NO, you shouldn't get special treatment under the law, based on your skin color! Equity my left ass cheek, equality of opportunity is what you're arguing for, and slipping in that equity nonsense is simply that, nonsense.

Equity, is where a black or brown man will be given special considerations based on my skin color, Equality of opportunity is what you're asking for, where the government doesn't arbitrarily decide that it costs a quarter million dollars to get a license to grow. What that woman is asking for, is that the price remains 250k for white people, but it'll be $10 for black and $500 for brown people because that's equitable because of black people's struggle, neglecting entirely that America is a melting pot of many different ethnicities and not all black people in America are descended from slavery, same for brown people and even white people. There are many white people who had nothing to do with it, who are paying for the sins of another, just as there are many black people who cannot trace their lineage to slavery, but wants reparations.

Do NOT make decisions like this based on skin color, because that makes you identical to the people who did it to you before, and all you've done is perpetuated the cycle, the pendulum WILL eventually swing the other way, and the harder you push, the harder it will swing, and you're pushing REALLY hard with this stupidity, we'll all be in chains again because you got greedy.
