  3. As I can remember, even my dog had seizure. It happened in December of the last year. A (probably) week earlier, my dog began to have problems with peeing. He also almost wasn't able to walk, he didn't want to just make a few steps. Usually, there were a lots of urine puddles all over the flat. It felt really terrible to only see it. He was in huge pain. As the days went by, my dad got an idea to take him to veterinary. That evening, we were siting in waiting room. My dog was in front of my eyes and connected to the drip. Suddenly, he got a seizure. It was pretty terrifying and very emotional experience to me. Then on January 19th this year, my dog passed away in consulting room. What was actually the worst and best on his death? The worst was, that I was there with him and saw my dog dying. The best on his death was, that he finnaly feel anything. No pain, just nothing.

Rest In Peace, Matthew. We all miss you. 🥺🥺🥺 (January 31th 2008 – January 19th 2021)

  4. I've got a dog now that had epilepsy last 7years he's now 9 but also in liver failure..
One of my late dog also had epilepsy from 2 so I've had deal with this for 21years..important keep clear of dogs face they are not Conscious do not know what's happening can bite you and never put hands into dogs mouth.

  5. The person sobbing in the second clip hurt me. My family dog—who has been my best friend since we adopted him years ago—has had newly arising aggression issues due to what my mom thinks is minor seizures and I have felt that pain, maybe not in the same circumstance given that he doesn't shake visibly like that, but similarly. The pain of knowing your pet is hurting and when you brought them home you signed up to protect them always so it feels like you're not doing enough. Especially since the aggression doesn't allow us to comfort him. I just want my happy old dog back.

  6. Yes you do need to contact a vet immediately and be ready to follow their instructions but for gods sake put a lid on the howling and screaming, the dog may be in different stages of consciousness or unconsciousness, sometimes they are aware of their surroundings but unable to do anything about it so wailing and screaming will only make them more afraid. Humans know this but dogs do not do it's up to humans to be as calm and comforting as possible. Of course it's a frightening thing to see but try to stay calm so your pet will be less frightened.
