  1. I just got given a pack of this beard oil, a beard comb, and beard balm by someone from work for Christmas. I assume itā€™s somebody that doesnā€™t know me super well, since itā€™s not a brand Iā€™d use and they got me a scarf which is also not something Iā€™d normally wear.

But since I normally use Beard Octane, Detroit Grooming, or Beard Baron I figured Iā€™d go search a review before trying. Iā€™m now really hesitant on trying it at all.

It was thoughtful and appreciated, but I donā€™t want to have a slick or sticky beard – or hand for that matter!

  2. I feel you 1000% on the advertising Iā€™m just a guy that wants to take care of my beard. I donā€™t care about being a tough guy a lumberjack or the coolest dude in town.

  3. You're so right about the regular 2oz beard oil. This is my first beard (at 47 yrs old) and I had no idea what was or wasn't a good beard oil, but I noticed from the start it didn't soak into my beard. If my beard felt dry prior to using it, after using it just felt almost as dry but slick and I was pretty sure that wasn't supposed to be the case with a beard oil, but thank you for confirming it. Also, I had the same experience with not being able to wash it off of my hands, it's crazy, but I would even use harsh soap, and it was still there, personally I don't even like the feeling of lotion on my hands, so that part alone was pretty terrible.

  4. me personally ive had nothing but good excperiences with this company i haveen using them since i started my beard and my beard has been growing exponetially i use the cremo beard wash and thickener and wild willies oil i also keep cremos full line of oils cremes and balms as backup

  5. Man I learned never trust a man with a big beard , nice guy but 1 day? Never said it make your pussies smell good , you were honest but how honest can this really be? Not everyone has a duck dynasty
These reviews especially yours is misleading , it does what says 100 percent , add with boost and trust 2-3 weeks, be consistent use few times or more , I'll give my info or we can make a real video with a real commitment not this perfume contest, anyway you seem nice but this just made me a more fan of their advertising,,,

But I still like you better than all these haters,
You going hate show me whats better by proof not just one day ,
I used boost, hemp and 2-3 week and challenge anyone , I'll give my info it you not happy with growth , full thickness and health , expensive but show me better with real use, a real effort , i will believe you honest with a real effort backed up

  6. When a company approaches a personality that hasn't been relevant in years, and most have forgotten entirely, its never a good sign. I'm also willing to bet Willie has never put beard oil in his beard in his life.

  7. I think you should do 3 days. You can pinpoint how it softens or smells and lasts on beard. One time really isnā€™t fare Dan. If it a shot. Donā€™t extend your usage because your use to parlor style oils. Some oils are higher on different things. One day isnā€™t going to cut it.
Especially the guy who talks about your body getting use to a protect.

  8. Admitting that you used once or twice, yeah nothing will settle and nourish to gauge effectiveness after a day or so. This was more ripping the marketing and bottle material than anything else. Iā€™m personally a fan of pumps and bottles, glass breaks obviously and the pump is fool proof in my eyes to almost exactly measure each amount dispensed per use. Iā€™ve been on the elixir and serum for under 2 months and have more hair than every man jack and other companies did for me in the previous 6 months. I still wonā€™t rip them like you do here, there is no one size fits all in terms of what works for who.

  9. I recently bought wild Willies pro growth beard shampoo. It seems to work really well and really open up the pores of my skin. I'm using the wild Willies hemp oil also .
    Any thoughts?

  10. I've been buying wild Willie's beard oil for quite some time and I work in a freezer where I'm constantly getting ice shelves built up in my beard and frost and by the end of the day the oil is still on my skin and protecting my beard from drying out even after rinsing the ice shelves out of my beard after I get done in the freezer I could still smell and feel the oil in it but of course it's thinned a little bit since I use hot water to melt the shelves so it does stick around quite well and it does absorb into the beard but I think it is 4 people that don't want to apply beard oil throughout the day and just do it like once in the early morning or whatever cuz it works pretty good for me and my case so I guess it's just one of those oils that aren't for everybody depends on what kind of Lifestyle you lead and what kind of work you do for a living I think the next Oil I want to try is the honest Amish brand beard oil because I also use cremo beard The New Forest blend is really nice it's a lighter oil and I usually use that during the days I don't work in the freezer it works nice especially if you wanted light oil that absorbs quickly and leaves your beard and skin feeling soft and also it helps good with working tangles and knots out because the hydration applying it so that's my opinion on this situation wild Willie's beard products are good they're just maybe not for everybody even though beards are very similar every beard is different and unique. Hope you all have a good day and keep living bearded Brothers

  11. Binge watching your videos with my homie on this Christmas. Merry Christmas btw
I have the hemp seed beard oil. I like it. Makes my beard feel good reminds me of the old wingman from live bearded. The regular oil use to work for me in the beginning. Started using other oils and tried to use it again and yea it wasnā€™t it for me. So i gave it to my homie. His beard really loves it

  12. I really think these products are for people who are trying to grow a beard and for people with short beards, I used this stuff when I was first growing my beard and now that it is longer its not working as well

  13. Yeah, I used this (2oz premium beard oil) and wasn't a big fan either. I noticed the stickiness. Two guys that I know said their beards made them itch. Best to stay away from this. And I used it for awhile.

  14. My co-worker gave me this beard oil and I was thankful for the gift… but trying this product once just like Dan C I didnā€™t like it. My Wife didnā€™t like it either and the way it felt in my beard. Now I see why he also gave it to me šŸ˜‚ but itā€™s just sitting on my shelf with the least amount used.

  15. I got the Wild Willies plastic bottle/pump top as a free sample/just pay shipping deal online a year or so ago. I never really could place why I wasn't a fan of it, but when you mentioned that it just stuck around, I totally knew what you meant. It also made my beard very shiny. Great analysis!

  16. I got a wild Willie's gift set for Christmas last year and I wasn't impressed. As soon as I opened the travel bag it was coated in beard oil that leaked out. It came with balm a wooden comb, one of those metal beard shaping things for trimming. Ive tried some off the wall stuff like wizard brand and this was by far the lowest quality product I've found. Glad it was a gift.

  17. The "Wild Willie's Beard Soft" #75 is actually REALLY good stuff! Makes mine softer than many many products. Just when my beard is feeling a little dry and ruff I apply to my cold wet beard in the morning and rinse it out at night.

  18. Also, if you have time, Suavecito, a company mostly known for pomades, now sell beard oil, beard balms, beard shampoos and beard conditioner. I personally like the stuff, however, they do not seem to be all natural. Their beard products are pretty new. In addition, would love to see a review of the Reuzel Beard Balm and Beard Foam, both of which I have used. Love the smell (There is a love/hate thing about the smell by a lot of people in other reveiws). The hold is super strong, especially when using the foam. Holds like crazy which if you are out and about with a lot of wind, is ok. I have a long beard so not so sure I like though. ANyway, your take on these two product lines might be pretty good I think

  19. I have tried their oils and balms and to me, nothing remarkable, not in my rotation or on my "top" shelf so to speak. As far as your remarks about the marketing and such, I totally agree. To me, it is telling me that the company for whom it is made, as it is an OEM product, is not a company with beard products as a primary focus. I think it is intentionally being sold to mass markets and box stores where perhaps someone who is just starting out with a beard or people with a very slim budget, might be attracted to the products. I also think that they are trying to ride on the coat tails of the companies that do have beard products as a primary focus during the very popular beard wearing times.

  20. Can you please do a review on ā€œBilly Jealousyā€ and ā€œBeard guyzā€ when you get bored? Haha!! I currently use the ā€œBeard guyzā€ beard 2-in-1 wash & tame. I find them at my local Walmart or wall green/ CVS. I used to use the ā€œBilly Jealousyā€ shampoo and leave in conditioner, until I tuned into your channel and learned more about the products you recommend! Thank you for all of your information!

  21. Have not tried wild willies, seen them tho. I found small batch brands very early on so have only tried a few carried by big box stores. Not saying theyā€™re all bad, because sometimes you come up on a decent one.

  22. I came across these guys early in my beard journey when I was looking into supplements. Tried the supplements but quickly moved on to Rooster Boosters from Bossman and now exclusively use Beard Gummies from Beard Octane. There was a coupon for a free beard butter with the WW supplements….. I took the bait and they sent it to me but it was more of a hard balm and I didn't care for the scent. It was a good learning experience, there are so many other awesome products out there in the same price range.

  23. Beard octane is a much better company with one of the best products I've ever used but they use the "were men!!!" "man up" most style of anyone ive seen yet. Its their whole style.
