CBD is BIG PHARMA propaganda to divide the community that has been fighting for the whole plant. CBD was always BIG PHARMA's evil PR plan. All over the world they made these "medical cannabis" laws so that they could make CBD in order to give to the people a fraction of the cannabis plant. Now with the help of some gold diggers that made CBD oils and profited from the cannabis plant, their plan is to keep Epidiolex and a few others on the market and complete CBD studies that will prove that cannabis has no medicinal benefits. Using long term CBD can be harmful to the body. Checkout the studies that were conducted on CBD. CBD is a SCAM and a lot of people felt into that. Humanity needs THE COMPLETE PLANT with THCv, THCa, etc. all the compounds, those are needed for our endocannabinoid system, not just CBD. Charlotte Figi was used by BIG PHARMA in order to promote CBD. She has died this year. Billy Caldwell's mother bought him full THC oil from Canada but the media was all over that he used CBD. STOP PROMOTING THESE CBD OILS. You are beeing used by BIG PHARMA
Hi! Thanks for the video. I am really concerned about how painful your periods sound though, please get yourself checked out by a doctor, no-one should have to go through that.
There’s a really good book called “Pain and Prejudice” which talks a lot about women’s pain, all the best x
I hope you don't mind me interjecting in this conversation as I am a man so have no real comprehension of the pain you refer to. However, I run a CBD business and have an interest in CBD and how it interacts in pain modulation. I am currently experimenting (with my wife!) on this issue. She takes 30mg's of CBD in oil drops in the evening and a week closer to her period has increased the dosage to 60mg CBD (twice x 30mg's). Her period is due now but so far she's not felt any pain as its not started, so she will be monitoring. So far she doesn't feel bad. I believe CBD benefits are holistic and over an extended period rather offering an immediate solution (like say Ibuprofane). The dosage on the day and proceeding days may need to go up to 90mg's. I don't know if it will cure her pain fully but am interested in finding out if it will reduce it to a more manageable state. We/she will be monitoring progress. CBD maintains homeostasis so taking regular CBD helps in many ways. Hope this helps.
The reduction of pain could be due to placebo. I asked how much CBD is in the tampon and the response was "Both regular and super tampons are coated in 100mg of 30% concentration CBD.".
Hey Britta! This is Valentina – the founder of the company. Thank you for giving Daye a try. I'm sorry the product didn't work for you. We'll be refunding your box! Just to confirm, we only tested the tampons through animal studies because of the novelty of cannabinoids. We never tested our naked tampon variety. We had to ensure that there are no long-term side-effects to fertility, the vaginal microbiome, vaginal PH levels, etc. that were caused by the cannabinoid formulation. We first started our clinical validation journey with human studies, and only conducted one-off animal studies after it was explicitly requested by regulators. We fought back and made sure we had to do only the bare minimum of animal studies by replacing some of the animal studies with artificial human skin studies. In our clinical studies, patients were using the tampons for three months. Participants in the clinical trial were selected only if they had regular period pain that was higher than 6 on a scale of 1 to 10. We used the McGain pain management scale, which is the golden standard in clinical trials. The data we provided you with does show that pain-relief was experienced in approximately 80% of participants, which is higher than the % of patients in clinical studies on Ibuprofen. Our study was double-blinded, had a placebo arm, and was randomised controlled – the golden standard in clinical trials. If you have any specific feedback on how our trial design could be improved, we'd love to hear your thoughts! On the packaging – the wrappers and pouch are compostable, rather than biodegradable. Thanks again for giving our product a try!
It might be the pandemic, but I've been waiting over a week for their delivery now. Did you find the same thing too? Will edit my comment once I've tried them. Strangely, there aren't many reviews out there.
I have endometriosis so have ordered this and just come across your review 😭
May I ask what you use normally to combat the pain?
Thanks
Very good. You must try Weedborn CBD.
Do you have endometriosis???? You just describe my stage 4 endometriosis
Try „Your Kaya” brand. They do bio tampons and pads.
I like CBD. The best ones are from Weedborn 🙂
