FINDLAY — Three were injured in a two-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 75 in Union Township early Friday evening, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 5:15 p.m. Friday when a 2020 Hyundai Venue, driven by Jamie Robles, 22, of Columbus, struck a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado in the left rear side. The Hyundai veered off the road and struck a ditch, overturning several times, according to the state highway patrol.
A passenger in the Hyundai was transported to Blanchard Valley Health System on Friday with serious injuries, while Robles and another passenger sustained minor injuries, according to the state highway patrol.
No one in the Silverado sustained injuries, the state highway patrol said.
Police seized a “significant amount” of marijuana from the Hyundai and noted that the driver and passengers in that vehicle were not wearing seatbelts. Marijuana intoxication is suspected in the crash, the state highway patrol said.
