I had it while pregnant. If God didnt kill me then, there is no need of me to fear it. Im not afraid of it until I understood that death isnt on my hands but on God's.
Iām vaxxed and boosted, an essential worker, been exposed at work and at home, and have not yet tested positive once. I donāt think this would be the case if I was not vaccinated or did not live with some fear of the virus. It should be taken seriously, and proper precaution is what has kept me safe from the virus. When my husband had COVID in December 2020, neither of us were vaxxed, but he quarantined to our bedroom while I stayed in the other room and disinfected our apartment. For the two weeks he felt major fatigue, no appetite, loss of smell and taste and fever, minimal respiratory symptoms. When he had it in January 2022, we were both vaxxed but not boosted, and I again did not test positive at all. This time was far less severe, but the fever was more persistent and he had a sore throat. The reasons heās gotten it twice and I havenāt gotten it is because of how seriously our respective jobs have take preventive procedures, as well as how either of us have handled it: heās been more relaxed with mask-wearing and distancing, where I keep mine on pretty much constantly and try to keep a good distance when I can. I see thousands of people a day at work, a solid majority of them massless and coughing, and somehow I have not tested positive. I genuinely think this is because Iāve chosen to get the vaccine to protect myself and others, and because I really try to take care of my immune system and stay active. Living in fear of the virus has kept me safe and has kept me from spreading it to my loved ones. Downplaying COVIDās effects is incredibly dangerous, and not using sensible caution is what has kept it ongoing for so long. PLEASE encourage people to keep OTHERS safe and take every precaution they can.
I havenāt yet tested posting from covid. My husband is an essential worker, so he worked the entire time and was/is always around new people. My parents (double jabbed) tested positive a day after we were in their house but we did not get it. I was very sick back in January 2020, It just makes me wonder how many people got it before it even became a thing
Maybe discuss how much your risk of blood clots (and so CVA, MI, DVT, PE) increases even if you weren't sick enough to be hospitalized. It's not just that week or two you feel acutely ill that you need to be concerned about.
I've had it twice. 1st in Nov. 2020 and 2nd time in January 2022 while pregnant. 1st time I was sick in bed with a low fever for 1 day, no coughing, my chest felt heavy, loss of taste and smell (that has not really returned) mainly I was just fatigued. Our entire family of 5 had it including our 10 month old and both my boys have asthma. My kids were a little lethargic but no other symptoms. The 2nd time I coughed a ton, had a low grade fever but less chest congestion. I was extremely fatigued but I'm also a pregnant mom of 3 littles so I'm sure that was a major factor. I was also just coming off of a different cold virus from the previous week which I tested negative for Flu and covid then that was much more intense than covid was. I am unvaxxed. My husband and children never became sick or symptomatic this last time and my husband is vaxxed. It was so weird. I still don't have my full sense of taste and smell back from 2020.
Iāve been exposed to three people who tested positive for Covid 19. Not the same time. Was since this all started in 2020. Iāve never got it. Iāve always tested negative. Iāve also been on D3 for a number of years. Since 2014, when my Neurosurgeon told me to take it. Plus I take 1,000 mg Vitamin C twice daily, and Zinc. Not sure if this is why Iām staying healthy or not? Iām very happy I had my scoliosis spinal fusion November 2019, before this pandemic started. Iām doing wonderful now, no longer in any pain whatsoever! š
So I had COVID and Iām the one who started it in my family it passed on to my little brother then my mom then my dad then my step dad and luckily my older brother never caught it.
The loss of tatmste/smell can be averted by supplying your body with ZINC (50mg/day) along with QUERCETIN 500mg/day taken at the same time. The Q opens cells to allow the Z in.
I got covid and luckily i was vaccinated causes my symptoms only lasted a few days. I was lucky not to pass covid to my elderly parents as I see them on a regular basis as I am there carer . Another good reason to get vaccinated to protect others.
I'm pretty sure I had covid in January 2020, even though my bloodwork for antibodies was negative. Like her, I had a fever for 11 days. My temperature was between 102-104 each night. Motrin was my best friend. Finally after getting no answers, my pcp sent me to the er. I had a rash on my abdomen and thighs. I lost roughly 1lb a day and had no energy. I only left my bed to see my doctor, go to urgent care, or to the ER. Fast fwd and I had it again like 3 weeks ago. I had a fever for 24hrs, felt better than developed a cough for a few days. Took my toddler to his pediatrician who said he only had a cold, but I wanted him tested for rsv. Found out I was lied to and was told the covid test they used only tested flu and covid (not rsv). But his test came back positive for covid. He's doing much better now, except for that pesky molar that is cutting through his gums.
Had covid when i was 6 mos pregnant last year. Shortness of breath symptoms lasted for one week. Fully recovered after a month. January 2022 i am fully vaccinated i still got positive again severe cough And itchy throat flu like symptoms
Thanks to you and the mother for sharing her story. Everyone has a different experience. I had the flu once in my life over 20 years ago and I was so sick I thought I was going to die. It turned into a bronchitis thing that I never had before. Was prescribed medication. Fast forward….I am fully vaccinated with the booster. Still wear the mask indoors….stores, etc. I just don't want to get sick. It's not always a "little" cold or a "little" flu. It's like Russian Roulette….you don't know how it is going to affect you. For those that are not vaccinated, for their own reasons, they need to accept the consequences if they get the virus. It could be nothing or it could land them in the hospital. The whole being "jabbed" or not has caused such discourse in our country. Thank you Dr. Paul for always showing us both sides of the coin. I have a lot of respect for you. We can agree to disagree on certain things and still be cool with each other.

I got it twice before and after vaccination, it was not even close to my usual common cold both times.

No wonder you lost your licence.
SHAME on those not getting vaxxed. Youāre all why weāre moving from eradicating Covid to ālivingā with it.

I had COVID a few weeks ago. NO VAX.
Mild cough, two days of night sweats and a low fever. It was nothing for me.
Im very physically active, young and I am relatively health conscious.
I guess I have an awesome immune system.
My brother in law who is fully vaxxed has been in the hospital twice for covid, still sick too
Love how youāre sharing a story of assurance in a world of fear. ā¤ļø
