Herbs and foods can modify liver function too, oyster mushrooms contain lovistatin as does fermented red rice, and watercress and pomegranate as well as grapefruit can mix badly with medication. On a positive note, many patients with NAFLD hate to drink. As I understand this liver effect only happens with CBD being used orally. Inhalation route doesn’t involve the liver, and is why cancer patients with chemo are given that dosage route

  2. Also be aware that some people have genetic traits that affect metabolism. The question this raises has to do with dose. When taking CBD, how much is too much, what are the typical doses that people take? It’s like the Wild West, and while I’m not for regulating it or doctor grand standing, just an honest conversation about what is normal or what works. We don’t need the half hour hand slapping lecture, just a street level conversation. At least that’s my opinion, AND more importantly, people might actually listen.
