NATICK — After more than 10,000 marijuana deliveries in just eight months, cannabis courier Your Green Package is looking to expand its operations to Natick with a new recreational delivery outpost.
Since Massachusetts’ Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) greenlit the first couriers last summer, ordering marijuana to your doorstep has been almost as easy as ordering a pizza — if your local pizza shop equipped its drivers with body cameras and checked IDs at the door, that is.
Your Green Package, one of the first couriers to begin making deliveries in Massachusetts, is proposing an adult-use marijuana delivery operation at 16 Tech Circle in Natick.
What is a delivery operator?
While a delivery courier brings marijuana products from a licensed retailer to customers, a delivery operator can purchase marijuana products wholesale, warehouse them and sell them directly to customers.

Delivery operator license applications became available in May 2021, with the CCC limiting early eligibility to communities disproportionately impacted before marijuana was legalized. During its spring 2021 Town Meeting, Natick added definitions for the courier and delivery operator license types to its zoning bylaws.
CCC data shows 16 delivery operator license applications approved and 6 pending statewide.

Meet Your Green Package
Your Green Package is the largest licensed marijuana courier in Massachusetts at the moment, co-founder and CEO Christopher Fevry said during a community outreach meeting Thursday night. The minority-owned company operates in the Greater Boston, Northampton and Franklin areas, according to its website.
Fevry and his wife started the business in 2020 and got CCC approval to start deliveries in July 2021. Since then, the company’s fleet has grown from seven vehicles to 20, and Your Green Package has made more than 10,000 deliveries statewide, he said.

The company’s adult-use marijuana retail partners include CommCan, which has a location in Millis; New England Treatment Access, which has a Franklin outpost; Garden Remedies; Mission Dispensaries; and RISE, which has a Maynard location.
Diversity is one of the company’s top values, Fevry explained. According to its website, 72% of Your Green Package’s staff is comprised of women, people of color, veterans or LGBTQ+ individuals.
“The war on drugs obviously affected a lot of people of color, and so we feel it’s our obligation to have a company that is diverse and represents the communities that they’re delivering to,” Fevry said.
How will it work?
The proposed location at 16 Tech Circle is already home to another marijuana-related business, Kaycha Labs — a cannabis, CBD and hemp testing facility.

Your Green Package would operate from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and would adhere to CCC regulations, staffing unmarked delivery vehicles with two people at a time, equipping drivers with body cameras, keeping marijuana products in a lockbox and pre-verifying customers’ identification, among other precautions.
The company doesn’t deliver to communities where adult-use retail marijuana locations are barred, Fevry clarified.
The new location will have cameras around the facility and storage area, with access to those areas limited to authorized personnel. Fevry said the company hopes locals will make up about 20% of the Natick location’s staff.

Your Green Package’s opening timeline depends on how quickly the company can get approval from the town and the state, Fevry said. Ideally, he said, the location will be up and running by the end of the year.
“For us, it’s really just finding a town that’s looking to work with us, and we think Natick is that town,” Fevry said. “We just want to be part of the community and give back.”
