Ah, mouse. lol — While that is definitely a "thank you" and an honor, it could be a note to the chef that they are tired of chicken. :grins: (Baked fish sounds good, though.) Bless Hydrox and Ditto for being such fine gentlemen. (Do we know for sure if Hydrox is a boy or a girl?) Good for all the inside foursome and their Lady Feral.
Happy Birthday. I had a cat that I took in when she was left behind and I had her 10 years till she passed away. She brought me a dead mouse when we first took her in and left it on my door step lol. I told her thanks but please no more gifts. 🐁 I give my cats rescue remedy for stress which is herbal and it works well.
The cherry trees are so beautiful! Hope the CBD oil helps. The birthday present is a physical manifestation of the love the outdoor cats have for you. 💙💙
The purfect video for today. This was enough to make me cry but not in sadness, in memory of Oska who's ashes I'm collecting later. Oska was a mouser and regularly brought home dead mice to show me how well she was protecting our home from the possible invasion of mice. Hydrox and Ditto were so proud to leave you a gift to say thanks for allowing them to stay safely in the yard and in return they will protect it for you from invading mice. To a cats mind this is a great gift to give you. They are also saying catching mice can be their job the indoor cats each have a job so they want a job as well, resident mouse catchers for the yard is a job they can do well. Now we know why we stopped seeing the mouse on live stream …I think Ditto was just finally offering a thank you for feeding him.I like the carpet runners along the stairs.

Me also noticed that Boo is a alpha cat.
Simba knows this, which why he subordinates in some situations to him and accepts him as an alpha cat and likes him too and lets be led from him.
For a cat group, like also for dogs is it normal, when one cat/dog ist the alpha animal.
The alpha animal also has a protective function for the pack in order to protect it if necessary.
This order of precedence is not a suppression and Simba also knows, that Boo is a fair alpha animal. 👀&🐅
