Recreational cannabis could be on sale in New Jersey within 30 days

Seven dispensaries that currently only sell cannabis to medical customers will soon be open to the public following the passage of a measure by the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission (CRC) Monday.

The commission says that there is enough marijuana supply for both medical and recreational customers.

The unofficial timeline for opening is 30 days, but the CRC says the assessments and final approvals could take less time than that.

The commission also approved 14 new manufacturing facilities and 20 new cultivation centers.
