Cannabis should be legalized with strong regulations. It has both cultural and religious significance in India. It has proved medicinal use. In western countries there are herabal products like cannabis oil, cannabis sampoo etc sold massively. Legalization of cannabis will open a new profitable sector in our economy benefitting our farmers. As far as its use for narcotics, it is no way more harmful than alcohol which is being sold by state governments. Also legalisation will lead to decrease in cross border smuggling which ultimately will decrease source of terror funding. It will be decisive against drugs smuggling like 1992 gold reforms were against gold snuggling.
