Ex-couple argues over medical marijuana: Rocky River Police Blotter

On April 26 a resident reported that at about 2:30 a.m. a woman walked up to her front door, bent down as if to pick something up, then left. There was nothing missing from the porch and no other reports of the woman in the area.

On April 27 at 9:45 a.m. a resident reported an ex-girlfriend was kicking and pounding on his apartment door and refusing to leave. Officers found the woman, who reported that her ex-boyfriend refused to return her medical marijuana. After a dispute over possession of the marijuana, the woman left and was advised not to return. No marijuana was found and no charges were filed.

Theft, Center Ridge Road

On April 27 at 1:05 p.m. a restaurant owner reported that his office was broken into sometime after April 24. The office was in disarray, but nothing was reported missing. The next day, the owner called back to report that a computer was stolen. Officers are investigating.

Theft, Lakeview Avenue

On April 30 at 3:35 p.m. a student reported that his red and black Giant brand bike was stolen from the middle school. The school resource officer is following up on the report.
