Sioux Falls teens arrested for marijuana | News

LITTLE ROCK—Two 19-year-old Sioux Falls, SD, residents were arrested about 2:05 p.m. Friday, June 24, near Little Rock on charges of first-offense possession of a controlled substance — marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and first-offense person under 21 using tobacco/vapor products.

The arrests of Noah Dylan Scott and Katelyn Jan Hayden stemmed from the stop of an eastbound 2003 Honda Civic that Scott was driving for speeding and not having license plates on Highway 9 west of Monroe Avenue, about two miles east of Little Rock, according to the Iowa State Patrol.

The odor of marijuana was detected. The two admitted to being in possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and vaping products, which were located during a search of the vehicle, according to the incident report.
