The closest thing that I have seen to and national raw food brand that's available at the grocery stores is fresh pet. No, it is not the best stuff in the world but I still think it's 10 times better than kibble. And you can get it at the grocery store at decent prices. I have fed it to my dogs and cats. And I will still buy it once in a while if I forget to thaw something out or when I'm traveling and visiting family in other places.
I'm a little more liberal with the raw meaty bone thing. I just make sure I keep the bone content under 25%. I'm usually around 15% but if it goes higher for one day I'm not worried about it. I'm baseing it on the original barf book that I read and also the give your dog a bone book. They were feeding their dogs 40 5060% or more of raw meaty bones every day without any issues.
