Cannabutter (wax):
Decarb wax at 240F for 35 mins. Melt decarbed wax into butter. Chill butter to solidify.
Cannabutter (bud):
Decarb weed at 240F for 35 mins. Melt butter over low heat until temperature is steady around 185-200F. Add in weed and infuse for 2.5 – 3 hrs. Strain out weed and chill to solidify.
Vanillekipferl:
⅔ c cannabutter
½ c powdered sugar
2 tsp vanilla
½ tsp almond extract
1 ⅓ c flour
¾ c almond flour
Powdered sugar or vanilla sugar for coating
1. Whisk cannabutter until light and fluffy.
2. Whisk in powdered sugar until well combined.
3. Mix in vanilla and almond extracts.
4. Sift in flours, then mix with a spatula until fully combined.
5. Form dough into a log and refrigerate for at least an hour.
6. Once dough has chilled, cut into 32 equal pieces. (this is easiest if you cut the log in half, then cut the halves in half, and so on and so forth until you have 32 pieces)
7. Preheat oven to 400F. Form pieces of dough into crescents.
8. Bake for 10 mins or until lightly golden on the edges.
9. While cookies are still slightly warm, coat in powdered sugar.
