I was a very hardcore drinker, sometimes 430 am to 10 or later. Every day. I’d ask friends how they go a day without it. I prayed to Jesus I could have the strength to quit. I prayed for a week or two. I stopped after one weekend and never had ANY problems. I’m over a year alcohol free thanks to him! If you are having troubles. Wether you believe or not, just pray about it and don’t give up!
I drink beer on the weekends like 6 cans a day. I don't have any point to make I just felt like telling you. it beats sitting at home after working 70 hours a week and watching my wife smile at her phone while never talking to me.
I got myyy 10 yrs …..Aug 7th , 2022….chop choo … however ….smokkkke weekend everyday….hey even with your Philosophy profs….lol….I have cut back tho….that pink kush and girl Scout cookies….still the best!
Oh it’s a serious drug, trust me. I been an full blown alcoholic since I was 15 yrs old. At 60 I’m battling literally for my life and again trust me, when someone says why don’t you just quit…well, if it were that easy…there would be no alcoholics. It’s a daily battle. I get a few days into not drinking and then some part of my brain overwhelms me and I have drink. The good news is if you make it gradual it may get better. You see although I may breakdown and have a small cheat, I’m drinking only 2% of what I used too..at least so far. So for instance, where I have in the past, nightly polished off two bottles of wine, I know have one glass and not every night. Hopefully some day…soon..I will be able to go a week without that glass.
It Helps With Depression In Small Quantity Relaxes You & Calms You Down…I’m Talking About 1 Glass Of Wine 🍷 Or 1 Glass Of 🍺. Modern Living Today Is Very Stressful?
22 years dry now as i quit the day i found out my wife was pregnant. I wasn't going to be that passed out father on the couch while my baby had a 💩 diaper. I didn't sleep hardly at all for 3 nights in a row and the bedsheets and my shirt was soaked those three nights. The 4th got better and after a month i barely thought about it. Best thing i ever did as even having 1 beer would amplify my osteoarthritis and not worth the pain. Was it easy? Hell no, but having a child probably saved my life and helped me more than trying to quit for no reason at all. You really need to be serious about wanting to quit because if you aren't honest with yourself it won't happen. If you can get past the first 3 horrible nights you are well on your way to breaking those chains that bind you .
That "new" chart is retarded. Taking out definitives from our vocabulary has been a disastrous mistake. Saying someone who drank and drove is the top lvl but someone who has a problem cutting back is the lowest like wtf kinda rational is that. I knew ppl who drank once and messed up driving and people who didn't drink a mass overload but couldn't cut back that would be on the more severe end. Also know plenty who drank way too much but never got a big change in negative emotion quite the opposite. The rest of the presentation and information was good. Could do without the almost childlike speech really helps to understand what or how colleges are creating woketivists who are more lost than educated in life
Really, this changing of what something is called for some kind of political corrective reasons. If you can’t stop drinking your a Alcoholic said and done! Don’t babysit what it really is! Are you a alcoholic? That’s why there is AA which was developed a loooong time ago and still going strong because it works!
Im 40 and drank half a bottle of whiskey every day for a couple years but I stopped. One year and 4 months not a drop of alcohol. It was rough but once you make the mental decision, the rest works it's self out.
4 months sober and can tell that what AA tells you is alot of crap. They tell you that you will always be an alcoholic and they pretty much tell you that you will have a relapse and go back to drinking. I disagree.
So, basically no longer calling a person an "alcoholic " is to try and trick people into not being defined by their labels. Once an alcoholic always an alcoholic. Define it how you wish but a cat is a cat and a dog is a dog. For that matter, a man is a man and a woman is a woman. Everything else is just humans being confused. Have a grrrrrreat day:))))))))
I was drinking and partying all the time walking up with party girls, I stopped drinking. And they went away. . Hooked up with a girl that’s boring. Really bad in bed . I fall asleep when she’s talking. So I called everyone back up I know and said I’m back . Let’s party . . I’ll keep the drinking low as I can and smile in the morning.
I went through the DT's so bad, I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I walked into an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting while drinking a beer, shaking so bad. Someone there took me to the hospital where I stayed for 4 days. I needed to take Ativan, Librium and get IV's to rehydrate. It was horrible. It's been 16 days now and I barely started to get some sleep. I'm still a bit shaky. I recommend everyone with a drinking problem goes to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, they saved my life.
So why is Alcohol legal n heroin not as heroin dosnt do even any of that damage alcohol dose not to mention u dont even get aggressive on heroin but achol nearly everyone dose, its bc the government makes a killing of it.
I've started drinking since I was 14 yr old till now 31 never had a dui never been arrested was in a couple of dramas but nothing serious I love drinking *Note usually only drink Fridays and Saturdays not daily *

But if you only drink every once in a while, it's okay?
Don't rebrand the name. That is disrespectful. It's alcoholic.

If you want to quit something but can't, you probably have no willpower
Alcohol Use Disorder Ananomous

How about coffee or tea or cigarettes addictions?
Nonsense. People live much better these days than 40-50 years ago. The health organisation has become very strong too.
Started again during insane lockdowns in Canada. Thanks to Dictator Trudeau 💩💩💩
6 months without a drop and going strong! Wish me luck! 😊

I wish I never started. All of the problems in my life is because of this.
As a semi ex alcoholic, this video is mostly ful of crap, completely inaccurate to how it really feels
I can't believe my cousin (thane rice) is narrating this video👍😉
Great video
