Marijuana use is legalized in Connecticut but recreational users still have to travel out of state to get it.

Connecticut needs to get on the ball here. Open up store fronts as soon as possible. I haven’t used marijuana in years but the fact that it is legal to use and store now, but folks need to buy it from illegal DRUG DEALERS, is completely nonsensical.
If it’s legal, open the manufacturing and retail environment as soon as possible. There are liquor stores all over the state, and that is more dangerous for everyone
Can we please just have social equity programs. Please don't sell the rights of cannabis to the corpos. They don't deserve to be part of this community. They are transplants who only care for making money. There are hundreds of folks who have been with the community for decades and have the knowledge and have the compassion for the community that we need.
