Alton woman arrested for meth, marijuana | News

ALTON—A 34-year-old Alton woman was arrested about 2:05 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, on charges of second-offense possession of a controlled substance — methamphetamine, first-offense possession of a controlled substance — marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while her license was denied, suspended, canceled or revoked.

The arrest of Ashlee Ann Launderville stemmed from the stop of a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix at the intersection of Highway 10 and Third Avenue in Alton, according to the Orange City Police Department.

A small baggie that field-tested positive for meth was located in a container with a false bottom. Launderville also was found in possession of marijuana and two marijuana pipes.
