This is like food manufacturing. This is like craft beer. This is so much more normal than we maybe think it is,” Franklin’s Stash House CEO Michael Wilson said. This is the first time Franklin’s Stash House has let a TV camera inside. They’re currently working on a line of THC-infused James’ Lemonade. KMBC caught the new product being packed up and shipped to dispensaries.”It’s an amazing feeling,” Wilson said. Their new product from Guy’s Chips is the next big thing on their horizon. “Everybody is talking about the Guy’s chip that’s going to be coming out,” Wilson said. It’s still in research and development, but there will soon be a THC-infused Guy’s potato chip created here as well. That’s only the beginning of Kansas City brands entering this space.”I think you can expect every month, if not sooner, some type of new product or new brand being released to us,” Wilson said. With recreational marijuana potentially on the horizon in Missouri, industry analysts are looking for a big boom in business. “It would put the state of Missouri in the largest top 10 cannabis markets just by the pure volume of sales,” Wilson said. According to market trends tracked by industry analyst BDSA, Missouri could reach more than a billion dollars in sales for the marijuana industry by 2026.
