  1. 1 question: What should be the minimum air change rate?
if I had a 10'x10'x8 ft room (800ft^3), what should my CFM be?
I've heard 1 air change per minute but that seems utterly ridiculous to me, especially when ASHREA says 0.35 air changes/hour is the minimum for residential buildings.
I wouldn't bother to ask this question of just anyone.

  2. If your not worried about someone smelling your grow ( you dont neccessarily need a filtration system ) i am lucky enough to live in a state where its legal to grow , so i dont use filtration.

  3. One immediate problem that I see with this setup is that it implements too many fans. For example, you could remove the intake fan, leave the mushroom filter in place, and the exhaust fan will still draw through it via the negative pressure it creates. In doing this, you’d also be able to reduce your exhaust fan speed to 50-25% speed to optimize for just a hint of negative pressure which is also ideal for odor control. Another advantage to this approach though is that slowing the exhaust fan down also scrubs the air better than max cfm (depending on fan capabilities); it’s not as simple as more flow = more odor removal.

Another potential problem with this setup is that it’s viability seems to be dependent on a temperature controlled environment and may not suffice for temperature/humidity control in a garage/shed which may be too hot or too cold for this venting solution

Another consideration is that this venting solution may not be ideal if you plan on supplementing with co2 as it would be exhausting the co2 faster than you can supplement it economically.

But if discretion/civility takes precedence over yield then I think this is a fantastic setup in my opinion. I’d rather be overkill than underkill. Great videos as always! πŸ™πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

  4. Bruh you're on some Breaking Bad shit lmao. You don't really need this for the whole grow – the stank really starts during the last half (flowering)

still a great and informative vid!
