Nah man it’s not even the paranoia. What REALLY screwed me up when I first started smoking weed was the anxiety. Like pure panic, just like people that have panic attacks and can’t breathe etc. I literally thought I was dying. I’m not exaggerating. And that happened the next 10+ times I smoked weed (I continued because ALL my friends did it, social pressure) Now I smoke (vaporize, technically) weed every night to wind down and for sleep. I’d have to intake a lot more than normal to panic. But yeah that’s my little mini story, in case anyone ever reads this, or cares.
Great set. I think about spinning 1,000 mph and crap my pants every time. So, I smoke weed and enjoy the insanity. I think Joe's stand up has improved so much. The JRE Podcast is like doing push ups for a comic. Joe is reaching a new level now with his stand up and I feel like he's the next George Carlin. Carlin didn't start out perfect, but by his last 20 years Carlin was a phenomenon. I think Joe Rogan's comedy is obviously tighter than ever before. There are little things in his act that add to it. Very subtle like after the bit when the guy slid through an intersection and took a sip of coffee. Then he had a little "Sam Kinison" "A man who's not afraid!". That made me lose air laughing. It wasn't copying art, it was using it properly. We can look forward to a lot of years with this guy having fun or you can do cancel police every time he breathes. 2 Nick Diaz Middle Fingers in a triangle choke.
Joe Rogan kills me. The dude is a UFC bad ass, the host of a TV show called FEAR FACTOR and yet he's terrified of mundane things like airplanes or living on the planet Earth. I would love to put him on Fear Factor. Only instead of balancing on a steel beam 300 feet in the air, or being sealed in a glass container full of spiders, he gets to pop 2 hits of acid and then take a ride with a Blue Angel pilot. 😁
