Just want to let you know Jeff I enjoy yours Chris sandman and any other guests that you have on the DLP once a week keep up the great work enjoy the show immensely
This to me is just simply a second year total rebuild with a whole lot of growing pains of almosts, what if‘s, and that sort to have close losses and then a couple of blowouts. It is what it is and I suspect that a five win total is probably on target.
Great video, Jeff. Informative as ever. I'm personally going to refer to the Dallas game as the Irony Bowl because Lions could have picked Parsons up at #7 back in '21.
Idk , if I was an new HC with a bad team if I could have a few nice players or 4 or 5 extra day 1 and day 2 picks over the next 2 drafts . That would be hard to choose honestly but I might lean towards the extra draft capital.
If the offense had been bad all year Jamo would be back for Dallas, but since there doesn't seem to be a need to hurry him back they can take their sweet time with him . I'd be fine if he only played the last 3 games
Brad Holmes got Michael Brockers in a trade for a future 7th round pick, he wasn’t FA pickup. I actually thought it was a nice move when it happened but it Brockers isn’t the player he was for the Rams anymore
Jeff, much respect for telling fans the truth. So accurate, fans put themselves in that position each and every year. Just recognize how empty the shelves still are. It will get better every year IMO. The coaching needs to improve for sure. I look forward to seeing that.
Dan Campbell made decisions that gave the ball 5 times to the Patriots at half field instead of punting or kicking a field goal. Duuuuh…I have to blame Brad Holmes for his personnel selection.
Most lions fans are delusional to the fact that they will continue to stink and smolder and still be rebuilding for another 64 yrs as long as the ford's are involved. Nothing worse than a lions fan who defends 64 yrs of mediocrity
Trade Hock to Tampa. I don’t think they will re-sign him, doesn’t fit the scheme, seemed like a hard working nose down kind of guy when we drafted him. Now he seems like he’s more than a bit full of himself. Needs to check his ego and become a better blocker. It could just be me but I don’t think he’s a mcdc kind of guy

The games vs Pats

LIONS LOOKED UNINTERESTED!!
Thank you for the realistic expectations. Wouldn't even be mad with a 6 and 11 team
I appreciate your calming common sense, many others even in your industry do not have!
If Carolina is willing to deal Brian Burns I would try and trade for him if I was Brad Holmes.

Guys, if only there were more like you in Podcast World… Drama, Mayhem, Tantrums, Your Podcast is the ointment to sooth away the BS… 🍻☘️
Bring some of the reserves up from the practice squad. James Houston could provide a spark. All to gain, nothing to lose.

Thanks, Riz!

Atleast you weren't at the game like I was! Flew across country for my 1st NFL game ever and I saw that 🥴🥴🥴
Is Paschel fully healthy or at a lesser percentage? I hope he is 100 percent. Hutch really needs some help on the line.
Holems drafted 6 players on D this year…it just feels like they draft 2 players on D
Not forcing a punt against an average Seattle team is both unacceptable and horridly revealing.

Great job Jeff
This guy is a Lions apologist. Campbell needs to be fired after the season. He has no business being a head coach in the NFL.
Jeff “The Rizz” Risdon!
Who should we get come draft day? I thought I’d be asking you this a month from now….. but…. Ya know
