The mention of edibles is useful too but i'd like to add a few aspects to this, like « Bio-Availability » which can have real financial impact in situations where going "legal" actually translates as a lack of consideration for the simple fact that it takes more noble molecules when ingested rather than inhaled, which in turn invites more distinction to be made, between smoke and "vapour"…
Then there's yet another if not 2 more ways but these are mainly for true medical applications: suppositories and patches, hoping the last arrives first on our respective markets. Though for the most serious situations i don't see how to avoid pointing out that suppositories by-pass our filtering organs and hence turns out to be even more bio-available than with inhalation. In any case smoking/vaporizing remains most appropriate in terms of action time: 15 minutes at most i'd say, followed by 3 ~ 4 hours of lasting effect that enhances life in multiple manners. for example music appreciation, home-gardening, etc.
As for the more complicate stuff it's easier for me to just submit this simple analysis grid in 4 dimensions:
#1 because even in the 3rd age i've managed to undo the old self-vilifying legacies of a broken society from the past, related to the tolerance barrier leading to a « couch-lock », but i don't suppose that's very relevant here. Yet, habits learned/acquired as a young person can be modified if not plain replaced with health in mind.
#2 is about the contaminants infusing vegetal tissues, so better focus on trichome glands which collect (read "filter") noble substances on a molecular basis at the lowest cost imaginable: it's dame Nature at work! … And of course the most reliable way to guaranty "bio" quality is to home-grow if that's not too involving. Personally i miss it very much as it used to be enlightening, too bad we're "legal" now.
#3 covers what i started to develop in the begining: smoke/vaporism, edibles, suppositories and quite hopefully patches and/or even chewing gum someday!
Salutations!
It was pleasant to hear about « Micro-Dosing » from a "$toner"/"droÿée" closer to my own generation… P^)
