It's out Constitutional right to grow marijuana! The Constitution says, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal , that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness!" What part of Happiness don't you understand?
Is there any way I could increase my amount of plants I could grow? For instance if I were to become a caregiver for another medical patient would my allotment double?
Imagine being just a state away from IL where an intractable pain patient is still labeled “criminal” and “addict” for treating pain without opioids rather than a success story. With the opioid epidemic and CDC force taper of opioids it’s very important patients are offered an alternative like Illinois opioid pilot program. Hoping to partner with the right folks to bring change for medical marijuana patients across America that need help.
Does HB1438 actually address transport of the permitted 5 plants when moving to a new house? I see nothing that specifically addresses that.
Since they define cannabis limits at 30G when in public for medical patients, and then say that any part of the plant is cannabis, are they going to go by weight of the plant? They also list "locked enclosure" as a permissible place for your plants, which could be the back of your vehicle if you are splitting hairs. I don't picture that scenario going nicely at all.
For some reason HB1438 came up as a pawn bill. It took a while for the marijuana bill to show. < very suspicious. I don't trust this bill one millimeter – Its 600 pages long. And I'm sure they crafted it so they can get you on a "technicality". It is also included that they can take your property. NO THANKS! The house and senate are full of weasel taking money, Corporate"people".
Shouldn’t you bring up the fact that medical card holders must own the property or have permission from the owner of the property so most people who live in apartments will be simply out of luck
If I apply for a med card in 2020 when its legal, can I still grow the 5 plants? if so how does the 30 gram personal limit work? 5 plants is WAYYYYY more than 30 grams… more like 3000 grams average. So how does that work? hell even 1 plan can be more than 30g after harvest.

how will the supply the massive demand with just a handful of growers??? They are going to run into serious issues look at the black market the entire west coast mainly supplies the city not a handful of limited growers.
