  1. At least for the next few months, Thais will continue to use mask. I think people forget that Thais and even many expats have been wearing mask in Thailand long before covid. We have our seasonal pollution with particulate matter (PM 2
    5) being so high that it is statistically one of the worst in the world and those who choose not to wear them outside will eventually understand when they are breathing in huge amount of dust and chemicals. N95 mask is the recommended mask to protect against PM 2.5)

  3. People have a phobia now, I still see people in supermarkets etc here in Canada wearing masks, it’s psychological now the whole thing has settled. Hard work and exercise didn’t harm anyone and is the best preventative. Healthy diet, mind and body. Thai’s are strong immune systems and minds. They should be good now to not need masks anymore.

  4. Thailand can make this announcement, but I guarantee the average Thai person is so ingrained with fear they will continue wearing one for years. The Thai Health Minister belongs in jail.

  5. The mask rule is not law the people need to
Understand this I have not worn one at all
Since I got here in July So let’s get this news straight . There was never a mask law it’s a govt mandate which was never voted into law

  6. Thie mask wearing was dropped months ago I don't see any changes at all. Let's see if now maybe people will move on our of this fear and begin removing their masks

  7. Thais need the gov to tell them to stop wearing masks !! Its ridiculous they wear them on motorbikes but no helmets ! I think i saw around 10 Thais in 3 weeks who didnt wear a silly mask !

  8. But mask wearing is voluntary apart from public transport and crowded places. We are coming back in December but this is our last time. Do this do that when the rest of the world don't ask for what you're government wants from us. How could a country of beautiful people be ruled by absolute as….s.

  9. I like this girl's much more professional presentation of the news. But c'mon Thaiger… step up your game. Are you telling us there are places making Pad GraPow (sp?) with CBD??? Rather than just use some random cooking video, why not show some video or pictures of actual CBD edibles being sold in Thailand?

  10. I am sure the Thais will still wear masks religiously for the next few years. "Just to be on the safe side!"
It's even more shocking that the most compliant are the younger Thais, who wouldn't be majorly affected by Covid in 99.9% of cases. So "obedient", like sheep. 😱

  11. This news about masks makes no sense.
    Everything is double speak.
The mask wearing stopped being mandatory a good while ago.
The group who call themselves the health body ( why I don't know as now we have found out that the vaccine was never tested against transmission and masks may reduce transmission) said I was a personal choice whether you wear a masks or you do not wear one.
    The science was not science.
What happened was world wide governments were to lazy to do research and played follow the misinformation.
    Crazy people.

  12. Went to the supermarket here in NY the other day. It seems masks made a big comeback. Over 50% had masks on. But these geniuses were wearing the “do nothing but look cool” black designer masks. Instead of the N95. Nothing like virtual signaling.
