  1. We have not found a vet that we trust fully yet with out babies. Makes me sad that alot of the vets these days just don't care and over look alot of stuff I think. Thankfully so far I think we r healthy and don't have to deal with this yet but if we do I will definitely come back to this video. Thank u so much for the info. Glad she is doing better. Love seeing her running around in the videos.

  2. Hang in there, not easy living with a beloved pet with a terminal illness. Thank you very much for your informative and positive message, so glad to hear of a dog who's doing so well, so many months after such a dire prognosis. Our Bear-boy was diagnosed 2 weeks ago with terminal stomach cancer that metastasized into his small intestine. After two nights in the emergency vet, they said we should put Bear down after enjoying the upcoming and last weekend with him…well it's been two weeks now and Bear has slowly and steadily been gaining weight, energy and not showing signs of pain, thank God! In our case, we're feeding him a boat load of medication that has really helped. And after your message and another we received about another dog who lived 8 months after an initial cancer diagnosis, we're relieved knowing we probably have much more time with our Bear-boy. Thanks again for your message and good luck to you and Sierra!:)

Also for those having a hard time giving their dog medication, where the dog refuses any piece of food with tablets in it: We found you can stick several tablets of medication into a small chunk of peanut butter, then with one hand get him to open his mouth a little and with the other slide the peanut butter off on the crease in his mouth back towards his throat. The genius of this method is, your dog won't be able to flick out because its too sticky and because its so far back in their mouth, and frankly tasty, they readily swallow it back. In our case every thing else failed because Bear would just flick the hot dog, piece of chicken etc out of his mouth but not with sticky peanut butter:)

  3. I lost my Jerry boy to cancer of the spleen this past March, so this video struck a chord. I am so glad Sierra has such a great dad! She looks so good and I pray the CT scan gives the results you want. Thank you for sharing this video. The information was priceless.

  4. God Bless Sierra and give her a long and healthy life. Having gone through this a few times, I am convinced the high percentage of cancer in our dogs is a result of mandatory over vaccination like rabies, etc. It's killing our dogs…

  6. Thank you so much for sharing all this information! I love seeing how much Sierra loves you and how happy she is. You are doing a fantastic job with her, and it really shows in your videos. I'm so glad that she's doing so well. I miss having a dog, but I lost my last dog to cancer (sarcolymphatic) in 2001. It utterly crushed me to the point that I haven't been able to have another since. Seeing all this information, all these options available now, makes me think that maybe it can be a possibility for me at some point. I just suck at handling loss. Hang in there, I know how hard it is to watch a dear friend suffer. She is clearly thriving thanks to you, so you should be really proud of that. Really grateful for your video!

  7. I'm SO glad you made this video! I've been "preaching" about a raw, species-appropriate, diet and supplements for dogs and cats for years! I lost a perfectly healthy, 3-year-old dog to a toxic chicken jerky treat from China 8 years ago. When he died, I started frantically researching pet food and treat manufacturing, and what I found was beyond disgusting. The industry is truly deplorable and solely profit-driven. Learning all that led me to seek out truly healthy pet food that people can feel good about giving to their beloved pets. I can count on one hand the brands I trust, and The Honest Kitchen is one of them. It's what I feed my dogs. I add gently cooked egg and various dog-safe fruits and vegetables, and wild-caught salmon oil. I will never feed my dogs kibble – ever. It's the equivalent of feeding your kids McDonald's every day of their lives. I firmly believe that the inferior quality of dry pet food and treats is the main cause behind the canine cancer epidemic that's going on. If anyone would like more information, I encourage you to look up Dr. Karen Becker. She's an integrative veterinarian who is an expert in raw and gently cooked feeding. She has several videos here on YouTube and a book called The Forever Dog. I'm happy to see how well Sierra is doing and want to say that you're doing the very best for her.

  8. What a great way to go for her quality of life. Also she has care and love which is equally important. Wish you both the best

  9. You are an inspiration in your love and care of Sierra. My heart goes out to you. I have a question. How did you decide to remove some tumors surgically and not remove others? Best wishes to you & Sierra. 🕊❤️‍🔥

  10. Went thru cancer with my Beagle AJ…A) its expensive…its crazy expensive..B) Cancer SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! C) I was fortunate I got 18 more months with her..The Chemo ultimately led to her demise on Oct 22nd..Its a hell ride..the ups are usally less than the downs..I pray there is a cure for this god awful disease 1 day..she was diagnosed april 15 '21..give anything to have her back

  11. Sierra looks just like my girl Gadget that I just had to put down due to a cancerous tumor on one of her anal sacs…. She was 11 and it’s difficult getting used to life without her.

  12. I love the course of action you've chosen. I have been working with holistic remedies for myself, my dogs and foster dogs, for years now and the results are really good. Mostly I've worked with allergies, skin issues, digestive issues and 2 dogs with external tumor's and all have been responsive and successful. She's a lucky girl to have such a dedicated person. ❤️

  13. Such a great informative video, thank you! You’re doing a great job with her treatment
Y’all are a strong duo, she’s still loving her life and we can’t ask for more than that🙏❤️🐾🌸

  14. I have been through the whole cancer thing with many humans. I think you made the right choice. Chemo is only worth it if the cancer goes into complete remission which is quite rare after it metastasizes. With my mom we decided against chemo rather good food etc. The docs gave her 6 month she almost got 3 years and that's without the supplements I wanted her to take. With my dad he declared war on cancer & did surgery, chemo & radiation. He lasted less than a year. This ready to fight idea people take is the wrong way to look at it. Choose the best way to live with cancer rather than fight it.
