  1. I didn’t hear you mention Xanax…I’m assuming that’s in the same class? I’m struggling to get my RX for it, because they say it suddenly can’t be taken with pain meds!

  2. I took Gabapentin foe about 7 years but struggled with memory and had trouble focusing. I spoke with my Doctor about this and she changed it to Lyrica/Pregabalin, which has made a HUGE difference in memory and I can now remember about 90% what I could pre pain medication, however it does cost a lot more. My biggest issue currently is the DEA cracking down on opioids causing me to be more bedridden. My MME was at a point I was walking near 1/4 mile ever couple days and increasing. My Doctors fear of DEA crackdowns caused her to lower my MME to less then 1/2 of it, and as a AA patient I can barely make it through the day now without being in mind numbing pain. I am currently working on moving to a state that allows medicinal MJ so I can have more options. It bothers me so much, and I can't believe doctors are standing for allowing the government to tell them what to do, more then a doctor who has years of schooling and experience. It is just so stupid that opioids have no safe MME, the body gets tolerant to the levels they are prescribed if they titrate to a level that eases their pain even into the 1000s. 90mme was supposed to be for PCP not pain management.

  3. I asked about elk antler velvet because it’s all I could find…and it was marketed to dogs, but it was pure red elk antler velvet. They collected the velvet without harming the elk. Lol, I’m TRYING!

  4. I too have been seeking alternative treatment and Lyrica and Neurontin, both made me feel terrible on even the lowest doses. I have been using a wild plant called Wild lettuce aka wild opium but doesn't contain the illegal addictive ingredient opium.. From the research I have obtained it was used historically as an alternative to the opium drug with similar effect/benefits. 100% legal in all 50 states. I wild harvest and make use of it and for me it seems to work similar to a sleep aid, Valium and muscle relaxer combination. It calms my restless leg and muscle spasm type symptoms, yet helps me get very restful sleep for a few hrs. I have also found capsules and tincture on Amazon as well. I'll add that I use this for issues associated with 2 cervical disc herniations that caused damage to my spinal cord.

  5. Colonidine added to my regime helps my central pain quite a bit. Can Dr Tennant or Dr Ibsen please explain? I realize its a bp lowering med but I was given it from a previous dr and found it helpful. I will also add GABA to my medicines. I hate Lyrica and Neurotin. They're also addictive and like the drs here said they have loads of nasty side affects. We need our pain meds really badly. The US has become corrupt regulators and it may be time to leave the country. Friends I've spoken to who did move to another country. Those foreign drs told them they were being treated extremely poorly for their untreated pain. Americans must fight this harder. US government needs to be called out as evil for torturing patients. But I know they really want to kill us and reduce the population. We're seeing corruption and severe medical Abuse!

  6. Dr. Tennant, please tell everyone that those of us with intractable pain need and deserve PALLIATIVE CARE. That is the solution to a lot of issues!

If you can pull some strings and get other doctors to also recommend PALLIATIVE CARE for IPS, AA, EDS and the other intractable pain causing conditions, that would be one huge step forward for us!

Jaime, please let him know this somehow… Thank you!

  7. I had misjudged taking my 2mg Xanax I don't know what happened. I had been on them for twenty years, I was up for seven straight days, not one minute of sleep.
Thinking I could last till I gotton them refilled. The 7th day I was in the ER, Which i don't even know how i got there, with a heartbeat 200-225 per minute, I had full blown psychosis, I wanted to go home but they sent me to a mental hospital for four days, I did get better in there plus received my pain meds. It's very dangerous for Doctor's to tell a patient to choose which Med we need, we have an evil government that cares nothing about us.

  8. Sorry I missed the live — Chronic Pain 24/7 both shoulders. Been tortured 51/2 yrs. Now I’m being cut off the very low dose of Oxycodone !! Don’t have much prospects of a new pain management doctor here in Northeastern, Ohio. It’s hell here … 😫 so for Opioid withdrawal — Taurine would help ??? Thanks

  9. Thank you Dr Tennant. I was told May 2021 that after 30 years of taking for panic attacks, I need to stop taking. Luckily my doctor understands it takes a long time to taper off. I'm trying but my anxiety and panic attacks are worsening the lower I get
