  1. Amazing that cannabis is taboo but with all the percocets, vicodin, fentanyl patches morphine etc is "okay" now look where that had gotten us. A massive opoid pandemic, people dying everyday. Way to go…

  2. Thank you Risa, your sister and most importantly your mom for sharing this personal yet very informative and inspiring visit with Dr. Chin. I found this video very helpful. I am who also caring for elderly parents with failing health. Your work with this channel is greatly appreciated and is forging a positive message around taking the time, care and research needed to care for our parents in a loving and supportive way. THANK YOU!

  3. i want to get some for my dad, it is legal in his state but i dont know what to purchase and what the dosage would be for him, he is 79, 5'8 and 120lbs, he is frail, eats like a bird, always wants ice cream for dinner, sometimes wont eat at all or says everything upsets his stomach, aka gas/veggies, he can barely stand up, had therapy but Rx is limited. insurance wants patient to learn exercise instead of having a therapist motivate/push/exercise patient. meds make him depressed, less communicative. sleep schedule is way off, takes naps and sleeps all day. lost motivation to go out. says his whole body hurts all the time.

  4. Medical Cannabis and a Good Diet are a medical necessity for all those of us who have been innocently and ignorantly consuming such hard to avoid Mitochondrial Poisonous Polyunsaturated Vegetable Oils in our diets and got one or more of many more modern thus Metabolically Caused Diseases and CANCERS. These barely existed before about 1900 when industrially manufactured Vegetable Seed Oils and foods started becoming available. You need to exclude all manufactured snacks, takeaways, restaurant fried and manufactured foods to avoid all these vegetable oils. The ideal solution for ultimate healthy longevity is to go fully VEGAN and take Cannabis Supplementation to boost your damaged Endocannabinoid System until you are better (maybe 2 years or so) while getting all vegetable seed extract, typical industrially refined cooking oils out of your diet. You can certainly use some polysaturated animal food-based oil/fat as in all animal products if you are not quite so ill or worried about living as long and remaining perfectly healthy. Best luck from your optimally self reeducated and friendly family GP Dr David who wants to see you be actually cured of all the modern diseases that are definitely so dietary-based in origin. 5. I have seen studies where the strain or cannabinoid is not mentioned, and one study had shown the results for the motor symptoms either were not affected or worsened.
I have been emailed around, Michael J Fox foundation, trying to find a study or a dataset with this information. Using the sites like Weedmaps or Leafly do not have the right information.
Do you know if there is any study or data for straincannabinoid specifics?

  6. I am sharing this because I want someone to get some help from this  though I don't know who that could be but I know this will help you so much just as it helped me too. 7. I'm glad to hear this helped your mom. How much cbd or THC does your mom take and how often and what form? How much Sinemet does she take? What other medications is she taking? Sorry so many questions. I'm just really trying to find something for my mom too.

  8. Get a kx2 herbal tea,it cure Parkinson's disease completely within 21days. I'm a living testimony. That's what I use to cure my Parkinson's disease of 3 years and it cure me without any side effect.

  9. I have what appears to be a generalized dystonia or some form of functional neuropathy. My symptoms are characterized by involuntary muscle spasms in my upper torso and limbs which also radiates into my neck, jaw, and lower limbs as well. In my extensive experience with medical cannabis and my 'condition', I have found that THC, especially strong doses, can markedly exacerbate my symptoms. CBD, the second category of cannabinoids, can be quite helpful regarding my muscle contractions and likely provides neuroprotective benefits as well. Movement disorders suck, plain and simple, and in my experience as a patient, the majority of medical providers are grossly ignorant regarding our individual experiences, and tend to be more problematic than helpful. A well educated and experienced neurologist is critical, though exceptionally rare. Four out of five neurologists I have seen were genuinely incompetent in understanding my condition, let alone providing meaningful treatment.

  10. I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease nearly 4 years ago, at 51. I had a stooped posture, tremors, muscle stiffness, sleeplessness, slow movement. I was placed on Sinemet for 7 months and then Sifrol and Rotigotine was introduced which replaced the Sinemet but I had to stop due to side effects. Last year, I started on Parkinsons disease herbal treatment from Madida Herbal Clinic, this natural herbal treatment totally reversed my Parkinsons disease. WhatsApp +2348071333118 or email madidaherbalcenter@gmail.com.  The treatment worked incredibly for my Parkinsons disease, i have a total decline in symptoms including tremors, stiffness, slow movement and others.

I was placed on Sinemet for 7 months and then Sifrol and rotigotine were introduced which replaced the Sinemet but I had to stop due to side effects. 14. Hi, I'm Joshua . I am researching an article on whether CBD shows signs of improvement on people with Parkinson's disease. Could you'll help me with your personal experience.?

    Kind Regards,

  15. It would be great if the pharmacists and doctors had the same program of standards with pharmaceuticals. Many pharmaceuticals make patients dizzy and are lethal, yet there is no program like in cannabis to track a patient’s pharmaceuticals. Let’s lobby for the same cannabis standards to be applied to pharmaceuticals. There has never been a significant adverse event (or death!) with cannabis, unfortunately the pharmaceutical industry can not compare.

  16. Thank you for sharing this wonderful video! I am Parkinson's patient, I've been diagnosed for PD for about 2 years now. I have great success with medical cannabis in regards to treatment of pain, depression, anxiety, tremors and most of all the rigidity which I feel on a daily basis. I believe in this natural therapy enough to assist Parkinson's support group gatherings in Michigan by presenting education of how it helps with PD and also reveal the truth of how wrong it is to make laws and control a plant that's been used for thousands of years by mankind.

  17. This is so amazing. It also makes me a bit anxious to watch in that it wasn't available before, or I didn't know about it before and wonder if it could've helped my Dad and others that I know who have passed…

  18. Hi ladies. After stumbling across this video, I was pleasantly surprised to find your guys channel (Subscribed! lol) I'm very interested to know what Mums results were, if she followed through with treatment. I work with the elderly, so I know how debilitating parkinsons can become, in regards to the persons quality of life, so I would love to know whether Mum was able to paint again.

Dr Chin seemed very lovely and informative, however I personally think she should have included Mum in the conversation a bit more, by asking her questions directly, and then letting you both elaborate more on her answer to bring clarifcation.

All the best to you, with lots of love from New-Zealand

  19. it's very hard, for many, to share these intimate and often painful details of healthcare treatment, especially for aggressive illnesses, so thank you for giving us the opportunity to follow Baba, Kari and you on this appointment, and allowing us to see the process. how long has Baba been taking medical cannabis and CBD, and how is it working for her?

  20. What a great video – your mom ❤️ is amazing 😉. Dr. Chin was so informative 👏
My sister has diabetes and uses patches for neuropathy in her feet and legs. The 12 hour patches reduced her inflammation and have helped improve her circulation.

  21. The more information and knowledge you accrue with whatever ailment one has, it's only positive. We are grateful to Dr. Chin for helping mom and our family, and educating us on the benefits of cannabis. Plant Power!

  22. Dr. Chin is wonderful. It takes such courage to devote your medical practice/life to something that for many people is taboo. Her compassion is as vast as her bravery. Doctors who embrace alternative therapies are, in my experience, rare. But when the people in the vanguard–folks like Dr. Chin–lead the way with such compassion, it makes it easier for more practitioners to follow. Great video of a great person–great people.

  23. Dr. Chin's explanation and bedside manner are amazing! Was your mom resistant to cannabis at first? Did it hold a cultural taboo at all? My mom was very traditionally Christian, so I wonder if she would've been open to it.
