  1. Wow, just wow! You two have such an amazing energy. You bring positivity wherever you go! It has to be hard to put yourselves out there the way you do, there are always going to be people out there ready to criticize, forget those people! The joy you bring is appreciated by the overwhelming majority. It was truly amazing what you did. We can't change the world, but you guys are inspiration to make little changes that make a difference.

  2. Hi there! I'm on the board of directors for a true no kill rescue in Detroit called Rebel Dogs Detroit. I highly suggest you get something on the concrete such as astro turf. There's kinds that are made to be used for shelters and doggy daycares. It will help with odors because trust me the concrete will absolutely absorb and trap all smells.

    Great job, guys!!!

  3. Beautiful project and video! Lots of love to all the team. So passionate and hard working people!" I love the energy

  4. If you guys are looking to keep fleas away, plant Mexican pinguiculas around the pup cages! Their leaves are sticky and catch small bugs and eats them! They grow naturally in mexico

  5. I was just in Playa del Carmen for 11 days just two days ago and saw stray dogs which made my heart melt that I couldn’t do anything! I am so glad you guys are doing this you are changing their lives and so many more to come.

  6. It breaks my heart seeing all these dogs being abandoned and abused in this video for me there was a lot of tears and a lot of happiness so I just want to say thank you for caring love y’all and no one I mean no one deserves to say something rude about this people need to picture themselves as the dog that is abused and abandoned and starving ❤

  7. I know how much words hurt. I try to remember those who TROLL aren't DOING anything to help anyone. Keep up the good work! Id love to come volunteer!

  8. For some good ideas on how to set up a great dog shelter. Look up Takis shelter. His set up is great. He has big dog pens with gravel, so the dogs aren’t on concrete and are on more natural ground. But still not in the dirt. They can still dig and play and stay clean. The dogs aren’t in small cages. They have big paddocks and run together as packs. It’s lovely.

  9. My friend and I run a rescue for dogs on the Navajo reservation. We started bc all the dogs kept showing up to our property extremely skinny. We pay everything out of our own pocket. Unfortunately due to the cost to become 501c3 we have one person who harasses us saying we are selling dogs but in actuality it’s strays we are picking up of the reservation in horrible condition. I work at a vets office on the rez and she has been so supportive of our work that she even gives us discounted/free care for the strays. It’s so sad how bad some of these pups get but it’s people like us who care and who try to help that’ll make the biggest difference. Keep doing what you’re doing ❤
