  1. I only use the kmart 'chalk' paint on smalls – decor bits & pieces that are primed with gesso & mostly decoupaged over. Keep it cheap because they don't get the usage like a furniture piece does & you don't need to spend a lot of money on recycling bottles & jars lol I wouldn't use it on furniture either – deffo not chalk paint!

  2. Hope you feel better soon. Wow the difference in the top coat was astounding! As someone who just slaps it on and hope for the best ( much to my husbands dismay😂) I found this so interesting. Thank you for your knowledge, take care and much love from the uk 🇬🇧 x

  3. Hello from toledo ohio Hey hot stuff!!! omg i hope you feel better fast! and im still joining your hot girl membership…lol i just keep forgetting my credit card!!! i need a cash insert botton!! lol your the best!

  4. Love your work and videos – they’re so much fun to watch. I’ve recently started refinishing and repairing furniture again. I’ve learned a lot from you. Thanks.

  5. hope everyone in your country supports these brands, we all need to support our local small businesses, and they probably have killer customer service…the K-Mart in America is a low rent kind of store, the one in my town closed, they just carry subpar products….the store was dirty as well…

  6. Love that you’re featuring Aussie paints and suppliers. I wasn’t sure about using chalk paint so went for the K-Mart paint (decor not furniture) and found that the paint yellowed once a top coat was applied. Not sure if it’s the paint or me, however I haven’t had that problem with any of my other paints 🤷‍♀️. And yes it def has a satin sheen to it.

Hope you’re feeling better soon ❤

  7. I purchased some Kmart paint recently. I thought I'd test it out. Now I'm scared to open the tin incase it's mutated into a slime killer blob.

  8. Loved this video! I learned so much from your comparisons and your advice. I’m just refinishing furniture for myself, not to sell. But I do want my creations to look their best after all my work. So enjoy your channel and your wisdom! (And love the new tattoo.)

  9. Thanks, Twitch. Here in the us, we don't have the two brands you recommend. Of course that other crap is made in China, so you could always call them to complain. HA, HA. You did make a valid point here, basically you get what you pay for.
