Plain and simple. Less teams will be paying the luxury tax which means 2 things: 1- poor teams will be cheaper with salaries because they aren't getting handouts from the luxury tax teams 2- richer teams won't be adding more salary above the 2nd apron which means less salaries for players CBA sucks for players.
How are we not all raising giant red flags on letting players gamble? Oh, because all the gambling companies have sponsorships with ESPN and other media. They own the game now. Who cares about integrity when there's a chance to get paid? Who cares about all the people committing suicide from gambling? There's an 800 number they can call!

Couldn't the Spurs just stay under the 90% minimum and just not gotten a tax distribution but could just save on salary?
