  1. ANSWER is NO! Legal CBD items, "less than 0.3% THC", resulted in Positive for THC drug test. This was a random urine test. I took CBD gummies from Pure Kana, again "less than 0.3% THC" ONLY, Did not smoke any weed for YEARS. Test results : 228ng(nanogram)/ml. Current Level to be considered negative for THC is 4ng/ml or under. I am going through the Return to Duty (RTD) process but will probably be off the road for a month or more. If you drive a truck under a CDL, Do not take ANY CBD items unless you want to risk failing your drug test. It has cost me over $1100 so far and if I return to trucking, I will need to pay for random drug tests, at $200+ EACH, likely 6-12 in the next year, as well as 1 just to get back on the road when my SAP says I can be tested again.
THC is not federally legal, FMCSA is a federal entity. Urine test: THC will stay in your system for up to 30 days before it is "undetectable". Saliva tests: Positive for 3-5 days. Random testing is almost always urine testing. You have been warned.

  2. How about Hemp oil either ingested as a nutritional supplement or applied topically as an emollient?
Is the the THC that is being detected?
