  1. I have a German shepherd exactly the same issue I'm having hes 3 and against my better judgment, I did give him a cycle point shot because I was told he had allergies By my veI told her I thought it was fleas because of the spots he was itching and I was finding what looked like flea dirt. what we found out just like I thought he had fleas and they got out of control because he wasn't showing me any scratching symptoms for that 8 weeks Due to the cytopoint shot. So it turned out when I ripped out the carpets I saw the fleas and they were jumping on my leg so I know that we had them now and I started flea baths and Combing the fleas out but I tried so many natural products and I couldn't seem to get rid of them. I had to finally get Some help to get them out at my house by calling an exterminator who sprayed what he said was natur Is natural a green company.l think I'm starting to get a handle on it. I do live in Connecticut So I did Keep giving him natural flea baths with natural products in sprays. He's still gettingItching of course here and there but like I said it was at a control for a while. He was on a preventative when he got the fleas I didn't want to use poisons from the vet But I couldn't get a handle on it. I was very diligent I tried my hardest vacuumed 3 times A-day practically driving myself insane. I don't have a holistic vetrinarian she didn't believe me When I told her I thought it was fleas I had to actually bring in a bag full of his fur to prove it! now my question is It's the cycle point gonna ruin my dog's immune system in the long term Cause I gave him a shot does that mean that I have to keep giving it to him because I don't want to give him that shot? how do I get his immune system right? Does that cyto point change his immune system for the Long term is his immune system ruined from it the shot or does it just wear off and go back to normal

  2. I had a dog with allergy to grass on his paw. How I dealt with try to keep him off grass and socks. But now they sell doggie shoes. He was treated with prednisone, when it was bad.

  3. Sometimes dogs also scratch themselves out of frustration.
If they don't get there way, or don't really want to listen to a command you give them.
My dog starts to scratch herself sometimes if I give her the command sit.
Then she listens and sits, but starts to scratch herself.
Then she actually is saying , o.k I wil do as you ask, but rather do something else.
