  1. RON IF YOU READ THIS JUST KNOW THAT WE ARE ALL ROOTING FOR YOU, Don't feel bad to be in your situation because at least you're working on getting out of it. Some people stay until they die in the hole you're getting yourself out of. STAY STRONG BROTHA

  2. There is no way this is real.. I accept almost eveything I see on this channel as real.. but this guy has to have at least a bit of scripting.

  3. Caleb & Rob, if you see this I worked at SNHU for six years. They have a good career department that can help Ron with his resume and finding a job! Especially their online career center!

  4. As a Type 2 diabetic myself – 153 is absolutely in the diabetes/pre-diabetes range if he hasn't eaten in 5+ hours (I believe you said that). Dude needs to get something called an "A1C" test. This is a test that indicates a rough estimate of your blood sugar over the past 3 months. There are at home kits for this, and sometimes grocery store pharmacies will offer to do them for free. The grocery store I go to does it about once a quarter.

You REALLY REALLY want to nip that in the bud. Diabetes stuff gets expensive quickly, but when you're in the first stages the medication can be very inexpensive. If the guy doesn't cut back on mountain dew, he should AT LEAST switch to mountain dew zero/diet dew.

  5. It's crazy how the mindset and personal responsibility can impact the way I feel about these guests and about how likely they are to succeed. Despite having some of the most dire financial forces acting against him, I'm optimistic.

He's so likeable, seems to have a generally positive mindset despite the things he's been through, and appears to have a genuine desire to improve his life. As so many others have said, I'm really rooting for Ron.

Addiction is a bitch but it's amazing that he's overcome it, and I can't wait to see a check-up with him and see where he's at.

  6. Ummm new job? He doesn't have a new job. He's a cat man. Lol. Good job dad. Make your man child grow up. He had the money for car maintenance. He just chose to drink and smoke it up. So why is there a credit limit if they let ya go over. Student loans lol. To work jobs you can do with a 8th grade education. In 5 years. This guy needs to re interview these people. 95percent will still be right where they are right now.

  7. Why not just go the store and get mountain dew? They got 12 pack cans, 2 liters and 6-pack bottles. Way cheaper and you get more.

Then again, he wouldn't be on the show….
