yeah the jet fuel cant melt steel beams argument had always seemed stupid to me. no it cant melt it but it loses almost all of its structural integrity when heated up that hot. as for concrete, just a propane torch on concrete with make it pop and explode chunks out of it if you leave it there long enough.
