  1. From experience over several years,L theanine is meh. Taurine is way better and Gaba does work for me. Been on/off trying it since 2011 for sleep mainly and sometimes anxiety

  2. I’m curious if there’s any evidence or resources anyone can point to about L-Theanine supplementation to help with alcohol use disorder – to taper down the amount of alcohol or help with withdrawals or reduce likelihood of relapse

  3. I have a question. There are people addicted to gamma-Hydroxybutyric acid. Taken as GHB and precursor to GABA, glutamate, and glycine crossing blood brain areas. It acts on the GHB receptor agonist at the GABAB receptor. They take it to stop over thinking, to work out, anti anxiety-depression to enjoy life in general,, what can be done for them so that they can have a sustainable method for this? Something that can do the same or almost? Thanks

  4. It works so well on anxiety but Why does it cause headaches? Very uncommon for me to get those. I’m a lightweight for most drugs and substances so only take 100mg daily. I think I’ll reduce it to 50 even. But I just wondered about the mechanics of the headache causes by Theanine. Vasoconstriction?

  5. what s wrong with the non-invasive meditation and life-style change ?? remember Prozac!! the harmless to healrg quarantine didn't last very long. First, find out what causes the inability to relax.

  6. Amazing supplements, I switch between the two and they both work great! Got me off benzos and helped me quit drinking/doing other drugs. Seriously amazing for anxiety, would highly recommend.

  7. What if I take both L-theanine and GABA? Surely the GABA will not be as harmful as something like Ativan which I have a PRN for, even if there is no true evidence that GABA supplementation crosses the BBB.
