I absolutely love the closet. Yaaaa. THE LIGHTS! Yay you buying yourself something nice. Youโre DEFINITELY a darn good mother & deserve. Iโm loving the sweater and color combination of the outfit you had on at the end. It gave soft, feminine energy. Bean is too cute. Have a blessed day too, sweet Bean. Love her hair. And yea Iโm the same if itโs more cost effective for us to do it ourselves, weโre going do it. My husband is an engineer so I feel like he can do anything. Although now heโs at a point in his life where heโs like nah pay somebody to do it.
Closet looks good, and having someone else do it just doesn't give you the sense of accomplishment. I have heard you should sand Ikea first before you paint and use a light coat of polyurethane after 2 coats of paint. I want to do my closet but Imma have to map this sucker out really good tho… Cause I want to do a start to finish

My husband and I planted all our shrubs, trees, perennials ourselves. Wow! For less than $4k you can buy all the plants you need and dig the holes yourselvesโฆI think what it is, these companies see your house and over charge.
You know what you could of done with the book, I would of took the book back and said I lost the receipt and I bought it a few weeks ago, they would have given you store credit. Anytime I want to return something and itโs past the return date thatโs what I do ๐คท๐พโโ๏ธ and with the a book the barcode is on it, because with other things, you have to have it in its original packaging for the barcode 15:54
The closet looks so chic! I assume your hubby got booted out ๐ Where is his stuff now? I think the mirror hung on the wall would be a nice touch (but at least anchored to the wall). Most people just call polyurethane "poly" (POLLY).

Hey Jenny, the closet looks wonderful. My favorite section is the jewelry, it looks like those jewelry cases in the store where everything is laid out, and you pick whatever piece you want to purchase. Love it! Well worth all of your hard work!
