  3. Really great advice. The problem is that just because these OTC medications solve the MOST LIKELY problem does not mean that it is always the problem. A lot of this advice can actually make things worse if the most likely cause is not what is really going on. Especially when dealing with antibiotics. There is a reason that vets can’t give free advice. If there is no testing done and they don’t know what exactly is causing it and the problem worsens, then the vet is liable. This guy gave up his license and is helping the majority and that is great for him but if someone listens and their pet gets worse, he can’t lose a license he no longer has. Great advice but there are reasons (other than money) that actual practicing vets can’t provide this information. Love the work just fear the loss of an animal over something that could be avoided by proper procedures.

  4. you can also use prescription meloxicam for pain for cats and dogs, when the vets have it compounded its called by a similar name. our vet told us its the same drug, just be careful of the amount, for smaller animals you have to break a 20mg tablet up pretty small to get the right amount. i found this out because my vet prescribed the vet use drug for my cat with arthritis and i just happened to be prescribed the same drug by the VA for pain.

  5. WOE. Good thing my son googled, Aspirin for Frenchies. It said, no. Sooo we're just going to play it safe, & go to his vet.. Damn. I know this is going to cost me a lot too🤦🏻‍♀️
