My dog was limping since yesterday, I checked his pads for something that got stuck in there but couldn't see anything so I think maybe it could be a bit of arthritis, luckily I had castor oil in my magic stash of herbal remedies, I didn't know you could use that on dogs, thank you so much for all of your educational videos.
Wow, great idea. I had plantar fascitis about 8 years ago, first time ever had it. I was wearing flat shoes for work, so guessing not enough support. My coworker asked me if I wanted her keen brand sandals, they were the right size for me, and I wore those for 4 days, and it was gone. I wish I would have known about castor oil. Thank you.
Have you seen the videos on Utube about this? A castor oil pack applied to the area with a heating pad for at least 20 minutes over the pack is supposed to be more effective for pain treatment. Just try looking into it….might even be more helpful. Be blessed in the name of Jesus

Hey ladies! Castor Oil combed through your eyebrows at night or whenever you think about it really helps them grow. No joke – I started doing this a few years ago and it really works. I'm 66yrs young and my eyebrows were fading fast. Now they're darker and filled out. The secret is remember to stay with it no matter what. I brush it through my sparse eyelashes too π
I love castor oil. I would be concerned about my cat getting diarrhea. It seems as though they immediately want to lick anything you apply to their fur or skin. I would apply only a small amount to try first. Castor oil is very sticky and a little goes a long way. Has anyone here tried this topically on their cats? How did it go?π§
My little Yorkie/Chihuahua was attacked and torn apart by a dog. It is a miracle she survived. Because she was stitched back up on her right shoulder, she has very little flesh there. She is fourteen now and limps quite badly on her right front leg. I massage her shoulder with castor oil, she loves being massaged. I think the castor oil helps with the stiffness.
I had horrible plantar fasciitis in both feet for years. The thing that really helped me was wearing my new hiking boots that I was breaking in to go hiking in the mountains in the summer. Well, that was the summer of 2020, so no hiking vacation for me. But I wore those boots every day for two years when I walked my dog or worked in the yard. I realized that first summer that my feet no longer hurt. So get a very supportive pair of shoes or boots! Your feet will thank you.
My sympathy. Plantar Fascitis is extremely painful. Try getting some insteps for it at your local sports store. There are special insteps just for this condition, and they WORK! Mine went away and never came back.
Heh! I had plantar fascitis prior to my posterior tibialis tendon completely ruptured. Had to have it completely reconstructed in 2007! Tennis πΎ overuse injury! Using orthotic inserts! Use acv, tumeric powder, black pepper and coconut oil as tumeric is fat soluble! Ricin comes from Oleander plant! Toxic to sheep π in Australia. I guess all medecine can be toxic in larger quantities! Like water, too much, and you drown.
Castor oil has worked better than Diclofenac on my knees. Had left over on my hands after treating my dogs lipoma so gave it a shot … Pain free!π Use it every day.
A question: recently adopted an old dog with arthritis (severe) I started with your Ultimate Canine supplement and I was already giving him fish oil. Is adding Boswellia on top of it still OK?
I think that tulip rolled her eyes at you when you took your sock off and then began to yawn as if you bored her to death. She must have heard it too many times how many times did you film that one video? ππππ Just kidding I love your videos so does my mom
I have 8 year old beagle and she also have arthritis. Last few months she always cry for pains and canβt sleep properly. The vet recommends to buy cetyl M tablets for 6 weeks, which i only gave her half of the prescription because it is very expensive and also vitamin b complex for dogs. Now my dog only taking vitamin b complex and is now doing fine. Thank you Dr J. for recommending this because i have castor oil here and i will try it in my beagle. Sending π
OMG, I cant believe you are showing this! Its a wonderful old remedy. The secret is do it at night if possible, warmth, heat the caster oil then soak a bandage in it and wrap up your food with cling wrap and sock. You can even put your foot on a hot water bottle while watching TV :).. the heat is the secret. I have told that to elderly with bad knees and they said after 4 nights of this they were so much better.. mind you hard to do the heat thing with a pet. I wonder if cabbage poultice would work too. Thatis anti-inflammatory and an old remedy for breastfeeding women (can I say that these days? Chest feeding people??!) π
I healed my plantar fasciitis by massaging castor oil into my feet every night. The pain was 10/10. After a couple of months it was completely healed. Side note, I walked across the floor and left oily tracks that my dog licked up. She had the runs from it. I only made that mistake once.
How would you apply castor oil on a large, fluffy golden retriever for arthritis pain? Her fur doesn't allow anything to penetrate her skin

I had a massage client that used it on her cyst on her foot and went away
Deep tissue on calves ankle

Will it hurt my dog if he licks it off? Is there an easy way to apply this as it is sticky?
Where are you located my Shihtzu and I need your help

I read some where itβs also good for cataracts in animals as well as for humans
DMSO!!
So…I rubbed my long heared cat with castor oil. Now he is a very oily cat
Doc what do u think of boron for arthritis in dogs? Itβs pretty effective in humans.

Dr how about organic dmso to help bring the castor into super hard leg hip muscle?

Great idea.. but who can be applying oil to your feet multiple times per day?π’

For even better results Soak a linen cloth in the oil – apply to area then apply heat via hot water bottle or heat pad. Viola!

I had that bad, and my pt said to stretch my calves farther. Slow and easy. Works a charm. I hike like mad, now.
I'm gonna try this on my elbow. Thanks for the tip. My Dad has plantar fasciitis, and I'm gonna tell him about it.

Wear leather soled shoes and your plantar fasciatitis will subside.
