I was on the medrole pack and have taken three epidural shots of prednisone for sciatica and spine injury. So almost two months.
It’s horrible so far. Yes it has helped with my inflammation, and it’s actually cleared my skin but I have gained so much weight, it’s caused issues with sodium, water retention, muscle weakness, ive had recurring swollen lymph nodes, inflammation flare ups, messed up my menstrual cycle, all my weight gain has been on the cheeks and stomach so I have the classical steroid weightgain, headaches cuz of withdrawal. Mouth sores, earaches, aura of migraine, muscle weakness and twitches, brittle nails. Basically I’ve felt like shit.
Also concerned it interacts with Prozac medication.
… I want to be done with it. Monday I have an assessment with my spine doctor and I am gunnna refuse another shot of he determines I need another one. /:(
